Just returned from a bouncing gig in town , it was races today so there were plenty of well oiled punters about. A couple of loose cannons but nothing outrageous so a good time was had by all , they really were shouting for more but the midnight curfew put that idea to bed

I ordered some 4 weeks ago , there was another thread that I commented on , but can't find it, anyway its not gone well so far 🤔 1. All the correspondence went to my email junk file so I was a bit embarrassed when I chased them up for the documentation 😳 2. The first appointment at boots for the mould impressions was cancelled as they only booked a 15minute appointment and needed 30 3... the second appointment failed as I had wax in my ears 4.... the third attempt fell over as the audiologist was unexpectedly off work 5 ..the fourth attempt was done , it only took 10 minutes 😳😳 6... it appears that the mould impressions taken were not deep enough so we have to start again I'm going to a different place this time , though boots have put £20 on the wife's advantage card 😂

I use 5 of the ADJ Tri Pars through a ryger foot controller . Every venue is different as lots have plenty of ambient lighting so the floods/blackouts and even the fades and sequences are lost . but smaller gigs I light the ceilings as it spreads really well , always have a stage front pointing at the bass drum as it both lights the kit and shines back out . The others cross light the stage at floor level , with a cheap mirror machine on a stand facing the front occasionally. It is surprising how many bands have nothing to offer for lighting , it does make a difference👍

Total fail , this rig should NEVER leave the bedroom 😉

Woah now , I'm still trying to nobble the software to give myself my three votes though in all fairness , the wife says I'm not too good at nobbling things , so I guess I'll just clean the keyboard ready for the next one , but I'll keep a little space on the wall just in case I get lucky enough for another certificate 😂😂

Well I'll go for the obvious one ... stacking all your kit in front of a solid door so that anyone coming through it will destroy everything and causing themselves an injury in the process 😄

We regularly announce songs as requests , it engages the punters quite well cos although we might not have time to do all the requests , at least they know we are trying , we get away with as long as they don't see the set list 😉

I thought that after submitting mine! I didn't listen to any until mine was done , then when I did , I was taken aback at how good they were. I take the view that everyone might put up a duff one one month and I'll get a certificate 😂 ...... but certainly not happened this time

That's why it amazes me that on some instruments you have to take the neck off to adjust them , it is just asking for issues

😂 I'll have to find someone who took some , I had my hands full all night . even the playlist on the iPod needed monitoring as Lurksalittle had collected 4 hours worth of songs from her and her mates choices , but they all played at different volumes 😂

A quality little soirée last night , we played for an hour at lurksalittle's 18th party . massively stressful lead up to it and setting up , and I've still got to go back to finish clearing the room 😳 She chose the set list for us and everyone was bouncing along to it , it was a blast 👍

I felt the same when he first 'turned' country , but he really knows his stuff , he knows all the links and collaborations in the genre and when I hear him interview people they sound interested in what he says . Now, he could be bluffing it or just being totally professional , either way I guess he is doing his job and I reckon he would ditch it if he wasn't interested in it.

Wow an hour sounds ambitious to be , I really know nothing about podcasts at all , I've never even listened to one !! I guess it comes over like radio chat , but an hours worth is surely going to take some putting together 😳 Im not sure what I can do to help but I am crossing my fingers it goes really well 👍

A top night out in Anglesey for the razors last night . It was a return visit to a little pub in Amlwch . A bit of a treck but boy do these guys know how to party ! we started at 9 as it was chocka to try and keep a hen party in and did well to hold them in for 40 minutes but it meant we had to throw in an extra 30 minutes of material . All in all we were on for 2and a half hours and rocked the place . LL wanted us back for 2 more this year but we only had one date left in the diary , so he took that ! a good night with good pay 👍

I think this is an uber idea , I have never really understood the concept of podcasts, but this could be ace 👍 Caveat .... how many regional accents would need subtitles 🤔 , or worse , no brummies FFS , it is supposed to be interesting 😄 We would also need to invest in a special filter for the Welsh language members 😉 .......Tacsi
