Rockinbetters

I was walking past a "Cash Converters" in town the other day and noticed they had a few Rickenbacker copies in. I remember playing one of the "Rockinbetter" copies a few year ago. It was one of the ones with a fender type pickup cover on the bridge pickup and I remember it wasn't very good. These new ones look slightly more authentic it seems, they've changed the bridge pickup and pickup cover and a couple of them even had checkered binding? Has anybody else played one these newer Rockinbetters and if so - what did you think?
2. How far from Sheffield are you?
3. Make me an offer, guys! I will probably accept it!
4. This is my LTD 8-String. Mahogany body, maple neck-thru, rosewood fretboard, 2x EMG 808s. Generally good condition - a little buckle rash and a scratch. No fretwear and a straight neck. Reason for sale: I\'m not sure I have use for an 8 - I got it in a trade and some things have come up which I need the money for. Thanks! Looking for £600 ono May also entertain trades for interesting guitars and basses of lower value + cash
5. The M-Audio Profire is in brand new condition, has literally come out of the box to be used once or twice. It will come with the original box and all the accessories and other bits. It's a great piece of kit, lots of inputs/outputs and ideal for a small project studio or a home enthusiast. The DI box is a bit battered but is still fully functional. It's a very clean DI and lots of the local venues around here have them. I'm looking for £270 for the Profire 2626 and £60 for the DI box (ono) Thanks!
6. Bump! Thinking of selling this again.
7. Are you sure you can't be persuaded to go with a straight sale?
8. Do you have a BIN price in mind?
9. Congratulations! Do you guys ever get confused for the other band, of Stick Stickly fame?
10. I've not got any scales but it's about the same weight as my MIM jazz bass, lighter than my Spector Euro, lighter than a Thumb NT4, lighter than a Thumb NT5 and slightly heavier than a Streamer Jazzman 5 if that gives you any idea?
11.
A lot more versatile than they initially look as the dual coil pup does some clever stuff... bugg3red if I can recall what though!
There is a pan control. I think the single pickup is actually made up of smaller ones. You can get a surprising variety of sounds out of different pan positions actually, especially considering how close the two coils are.
12. Having previously owned this bass I can safely say it's probably the best sounding bass I've owned.
13. The 775 stuff might be useful to me, do you know what models the mobos are?
