1. I've got a fretted maple/maple Mighty Mite neck on my MIM Jazz if you're interested?
2. Would you happen to be interested in a Peavey MAX450 bass head?
3. Sadly I don't have anything to ship it out of the country in. Bump!
4.
Hi there! If you ever decide to sell it, I'd be interested. Thanks.
I don't really want to post it internationally but if you're planning a holiday to the UK by any chance I'd be happy to sell it to you!
5. This is a 1998 Warwick Thumb NT4. It's a fantastic sounding bass but I don't think the ergonomics really suit me. Specs: Wenge/Bubinga neck thru Bubinga body wings MEC pickups 3-band preamp with bypass Original brass Just-a-nut Pictures: Gone!
6. Soundclick is fast but I think the free accounts are limited to 128kbps bitrate.
7. If you want to direct link to audio files I recommend dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/
8. Maybe he's using a film camera and is out of film It seems a little dodgy that he wouldn't take a few more pictures for a £1500 sale, I'd echo what others have said and would stay away unless you can check it out in person.

Raggy

Raggy gave me a set of Schaller straplocks - what a nice guy!
10. Sounds like a good deal. Do they all have metal buckles, though?

My Thumb NT4

Love the tone, tiny bit of neck dive, nice neck profile, great playability. Not sure what's up with the headstock but the paint (?) seems to have faded a little.

Feedback for Josh

Traded my Warwick with Josh today. Great guy to deal with. I hope you enjoy the bass, as you'll probably get far more out of it than I will!
13. Oh dear, I'd better off take that wet and dry that's taped to my hand......
14. Bought a guitar rack a while back - great guy to deal with.
15.
Haha, GAS free is good, leaves you with more money for other things There are a few bits i want, but nothing much really... I've never been much into pedals myself, though i think i'd like a compressor of some sort...
Actually, I've found that GAS is pretty good in the long term. Gear holds it's value pretty well, if you buy used, whereas stuff like technology, nights out and holidays (which is what I'd spend money on if I wasn't buying bass gear) doesn't.
16. Ahh if only..... I went in to drop off a bass which needed some work doing. I live pretty close by so it's rather convenient.
17. I have a set of black wilkinson tuners on a bass and they aren't very good, if I'm honest.
18. I saw this when I went over to Jon's shop today. It looks amazing in person- can't wait to see it finished!
19. Spector Spector Spector! Me, a fan boy? Never! SR5s are rather nice too. As for shop recommendations there's Electro Music in Doncaster if you're willing to make the trek. They usually stock a variety of high end basses - Warwicks, Musicman etc.
20.
What he said. Also, passes at Grades 6 - 8 can be used to count for points in a UCAS application (can't remember the numbers off the top of my head though). I'm pretty sure it applies to the RGT grades in the same way.
Yep. A grade 8 distinction is about the same as an A grade at AS level. I did grade 6 Rockschool guitar and grade 8 RGT bass myself. I think if you just want a qualification Rockschool is easier because it's mostly about the pieces, whereas RGT focuses on scales/arpeggios/improv a lot. Then again, you might be amazing at improv and terrible at learning set pieces, in which case RGT is probably far easier

Sold.
Damn, if that mofo' had a maple fretboard we'd be deep in conversation right now
Haha, I think a maple/cherry sunburst one went for pretty cheap a while back too. Gutted.....
22. "Tossbank" - what wonderfully graphic connotations......
