    I've never seen a status replacement neck with inserts. I don't think they are factory fitted. I think they usually just have a wooden block in the heel to screw into. I would drill out the hole or holes and glue in tight fitting wooden dowels, let the glue dry and cut and sand flush. Attach the neck with wood screws. I did this myself with a badly installed status neck and it's rock solid.

    Aguilar TLC compressor in roadworn condition. Lots of scuffing to the lettering on top but works completely fine. This is the first version which is slightly larger than the second. Comes with the original box and instructions. £50 posted within the UK.

    Nice condition Glockenklang Blue Sky. Fantastic sound and build quality. Works perfectly as it should. A few very light scratches/marks on top, it has been gigged, but only lightly used and very rarely as I have other amps. I am the first owner. Complete with original packaging/box, power lead, rack ears, carry bag and instructions. Collection from ME5 or may deliver If not too far.

    EICH 1210s 600watts with the switchable triple tweeter system in good condition, a few digs and marks in the covering most notably on the back where the cat decided have a claw at it but otherwise quite presentable. All working as it should and fairly light weight for the size. I won’t be using this anymore as my gigging days are largely over and it’s way too much for anything I would possibly do now anyway. Collection from ME5 or may be able to deliver If not too far. Any questions let me know.

    Yes it’s rare to see Yamaha basses with maple fretboards and I always thought that early BBs’ were made with only rosewood or ebony yet there’s a nice BB1000 on eBay at the moment which has been tempting me for a while now with a maple fretboard. Just wondered if anyone has one on here, or seen one like it before?

    It has just suddenly occured to me I may have made a mistake with the headstock hole size required for these. Hipshot describe these as 3/8 inch. I think that may be the size of the post. The hole size is more like 14mm I believe. I'll check more accurately when I get home.

    Aguilar Octomizer in fair used condition complete with original box and candy. This is the first version of the pedal being very slightly longer and higher than the current ones. I’ve had it from new and to be honest I’ve not used it that much although it does have marks and scuffs due to it being stuffed in the bottom of my leads bag unboxed. The box therefore is quite immaculate! All working as intended. I would like £75 posted within the UK please. Thanks for looking.

    Hi guys, I have for sale a nice set of four right hand, four in line Hipshot Licensed HB6 chrome tuners in great condition. To fit 3/8 inch headstock hole size. Cloverleaf keys.     Fairly sure it’s original in this state as I’ve had it close to 35 years. Also, I have a trace with the green and red knobs and they do not fit the pots on this GP11. The green and red knobs are secured with a screw beneath the caps. The black GP11 knobs are secured with a nut. The pots look original inside and don’t appear to have been replaced by looking at the wiring and soldering. The pots are also both incremental. Of course I maybe wrong but I’ve always thought it was an early model made before they decided to fit the coloured knobs...........which of course are much nicer!
