1. Manu? Have you seen this ?
2. Bought a very nice Fender jazz from Peter today and have to say that he was great to deal witch. Went out of his way (literally!) to get the bass to me today. Highly recommend!
3. Bought some Fralin precision pickups from Dan recently. Easy transaction, good communication, pickups arrived the next day
4. SOLD Lakland precision pickups (NeoPunch model, I do believe) for sale in excellent condition. I consider these to be a modern style p bass pickup and have high output. excellent precision pickups - these came from a US Lakalnd Bob Glaub bass £35 posted
5. Great quality rig right there -great price too. Will be surprised if this doesn't go very quickly
6.
He's dead now.
Curiosity?
7.
Only one person was onboxious enough to try and over-rule our policy. He asked if he could turn the speaker on from the nice little Carvin amps we're using (which have decent headphone pre-amps) and I explained we were not allowed to have speakers on in our area. I plugged him in, set up the amp left him to play. Left him to play and he simply waited for me to start talking to a customer. Then he turned the speaker on pretty loud and started to play - then I simply turned the mains plug off on his amp He wandered away muttering something. . .
Ah, quit trying to guilt trip me over that incident Seriously though, I didn't find the overall noise levels excessive and it wasn't a big problem for me. Maybe I'm just a veteran of to many music shows. I mean set up a hall jam packed with lush basses and amps and invite thousands do bass players in and try stuff out. Can only see one outcome there... To me the real bonus for the Bass Gear and Musicman stands being where they were, was the space it allowed. I found some of the other stands a bit inaccessible due to the crowds and the lack of space in the main hall.
8.
MusicMan Classic also went, that was a cracking price for an essentially brand new bass, over £600 less than a new one at show price I saw elsewhere! Can't remember what else went but there are quite a few serious bargains lurking in the used stock. . .
Ha, soon as I saw the Stingray Classic and the price tag, I said to Phil, that it wouldn't last the weekend. As it turns out it didn't last the day! Someone got a great bass at a bargin price.
9.
Sold a few nice basses too today and met some nice people along the way.
Hey Barrie, was good to catch up earlier. Did the Wal 5 sell today? Made my way over to have a look at it and saw the 'sold' label. P
10. Wal Mk 111, US Lakland Bob Glaub, '76 Fender Jazz & '66 Fender Precision
11. <<< GONE >>> I have an Aguilar 2u rack case - that's the black one with 'Aguilar' in white across the front. Seen a bit of life, though works fine, zips work etc. I don't have any rack ears or othe mounting bits. Anyone wants can collect from Harrow, Middx
12. If dealing through Basschat make use of the feedback - if they have any
13. Glad to hear your're enjoying the Glaub! Out of interest, does it have a Fralin pickup, or the later Lakland/Hanson ones?
14.
Thanks for that info - really useful. Looks like I sould be OK on overground from Clapham Junction. Are you going on the Sat or Sun?
Oops, just noticed this - I have a ticket for Saturday

16. Sold Rich a cab a couple of days ago, in what was a very smooth transaction. He paid straight away a was a breeze to deal with. Tot man indeed!
17. Not sure if this has been already posted, I quickly scanned the thread and couldn't see a reference..... There will be a lot of planned disruption on the tube on both the Saturday and the Sunday. Worth checking here when planning your journey: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/track.aspx?offset=13
18.
I you're in the area Paul please feel free to drop in. Maybe you can explain to me what on earth Cian Healy was trying to do in that ruck against England. Buggered if I know
Cheers for the offer Nick Re Cian Healy - you know how it is, spending all that time in the front row, does funny things to a fella.....
19. Congrats Nick! I must to try one sometime soon
20. Cheers fella, your cat is cool!
21.
Just outside London? Wouldn't want to walk it!!!
their in Berkshire, where the OP lives...
22.
I've only tried one Bergantino cab (5im0ns, I can't remember what model)
Pretty sure from other posts that would be an AE410 and if so, it would be a very different beast to the NV cab. I sold my NV610 as I missed the sizzle I could get from other cabs. That was a surprise to me as I normally keep the tweeter set very low, if on at all. That's probably just me, as I know most people love their NV's
23. BUMP for the the all blonde photo, just added!
24. I fought a bit of that program too. Have the rest recorded, so will catch up on it later. It looks a lot more interesting than most Saturday night tv
