Just to echo Molan's comments above, I was over Reading way yesterday, with a bit of time on my hands and called into BassGear. It was great to meet Phil again, in a less manic environment than a bass show! He has some lovely basses in stock and plans to bring in quite a few more very soon. I opted to plug into an Aguilar rig - Tonehammer and 2 x SL112 cabs - Phil brought me a coffee and while he busied himself taking photo's of gear for the website, I tried out some excellent basses. I didn't buy anything yesterday, though have a feeling I'll be back soon.

Is there much noise from the Mesa fan? I ask as I had a Scout some years back and the fan noise used to hack me off, when running at home, though I have a feeling newer ones are a lot quieter.

I called around to see Si yesterday collect a superb '66 precision. I found Si to be very friendly, welcoming and overall great to deal with. Have a feeling that it won't be the last of our transactions....

When I hit the button to the left of the title, instead of the topic title, it goes to the last page, though not the last post. It's then just a case of scrolling to the end of that page to get to the last post

And the answer is 1/16" - I emailed Chris Celinder to check and he couldn't have been more helpful - offered to put a couple in the post, or drop one off with Martin at the Bass Gallery, when he calls in next week.

I use the mobile version on iPhone/safari and have no trouble getting to last post - just select the circle dot thingy to the left of the thread.
