<<<NOW SOLD>>> Make in Japan 1990/91 this bass plays really well with a fast slim neck and great tone. There are some cosmetic marks & scuffing, though I would consider them to be superficial and two dings, not on front. There is some light pitting on the tuners. Frets and board are both in excellent condition. The bass weighs around 8 lbs. This is an excellent jazz bass to play and I believe it would put many far more expensive basses to shame I'm looking for what I paid, £375 delivered Anyone is welcome to come over and try it at Harrow, Middx. Edit: I had listed this as made between 1984- 1987, based on the information provided on Basschatad when i bought it. Though, having checked the seriel number it was made in 1990/91 http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2104/dscf1613q.jpg http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/1238/dscf1610l.jpg http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/2609/dscf1609g.jpg http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/570/dscf1608b.jpg

Neil bought my Genz Shuttle 9 amp recently. Nice easy transaction and good communication throughout. Went like this: Neil PM'd me on Wednesday lunchtime, then dropped cash into my bank account. I posted the amp on Thursday and Neil gigged it on Friday!
Blimey P - have you been hoarding a secret collection of small micro amps to test them all against each other
Ha, you're not far wrong! I was running an Mark Bass F1, Streamliner 600 & the Shuttle 9. The Streamliner was great generally, though didn't do my Celinder Update justice. The Celinder was great with the other two. The Shuttle was the most versatile of all and made everything sound good. Well, I should have stopped there tbh! I, by chance, tried a Mesa all valve beastie and thought that's the one for me. So, my quest for the perfect micro amp ended with a no longer in production 58lb mofo. Couldn't be happier.

Hmm - is the lower volume down to the lower output @ 8Ohms or the smaller cone area of the 210. BTW There is a Puma 1000 in the 'for Sale' forum - they can do 1k bridged into 8 Ohms

Hi Dave, its a great head for sure and as you say build quality and finish are both excellent. Its just a case that I find the Shuttle 9 suits me a bit better. Not much in it tbh - I just miss the extra bit of top end thAt I get from the Shuttle. This head is on hold for a couple of days for a potential buyer
You can order and buy direct from EBMM, ask musicman20. Not really something that bothers me anyway I'm happy for different basses to feel different, Jazz feels like a jazz, ray feels like a ray etc it's all part of the fun for me.
I'll take your word for that - I was talking about ordering form US EB dealers
