The last time i was in the bass Centre that have several Bob Glaug Laklands on the wall. definitely worth trying one if only for comparison..... P

Happy to leve feedback for Gwill. Bought a small combo from me, some time ago, and recently passed me on (f.o.c) a nice set of LaBella flats that he had no use for. BTW: The strings are still sounding good - expect they will last for years ! P

Glad to hear the DJ worked well on the gig - did you use in passive mode ? BTW I'm almost certain they are Aero's in there

Basschat's Gwilm passed a set of 'LaBella Deep Talkin' flats to me recently and I've been very impressed with the 'old school' tone. I've never used flats before so have nothing to compare them with....

Bought a Shuker from the Dood recently and have to say he was great to deal with. As you can see from the posts here, he must be one of the most helpfull guys on BassChat.

I'm only good for changing strings and polishing the bass ! - didn't fancy drilling the plate, though of course, I could have sent it to John East. When I went to the Gallery to collect it, the first thing I did was switch to passive mode and had a play, I needn't have worried - it sounded just as before. Then I switched to active and was grinning from ear to ear !

Think the switch must have been a recent one. Would be curious to know the reasons for that as the DJ was highly rated as it was with the Aero's. I'm now the owner of Psycho's DJ in the above pictures ,that is an Aero equipped mpdel - can't be many around with lakland pickups. Most retailers still refer to the Aero pickups.
