Afternoon all, I have a Vintage TB Signature P bass neck that I want to use on a bitsa, at some point the truss rod bullet has been lost- it adjusts at the headstock end. I've tried a fender replacement bullet, but thats too big for the existing hole. Anyone know of an off the shelf type replacement I can buy? Many thanks Stuart

I have an old Aria Precise bass. Which is a wondeful thing, but I don't really get on with the neck. It's one of the old fashioned chunky ones and I'd like one with a shallower profile. I'd like a roserwood board. Does anyone have any experience of Mighty Mite/Allparts/ those ones from Northwest guitars....Are Warmoth worth it? Any advice appreciated. Stuart

That is possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen.

I use a Ui 24. For the money, it's a fantastic device. It'll do 24 channel tracking to a usb as well as mxing. The wifi seems OK. There will inevitably be drop outs from time to time given the way wifi works, but it seems to recover pretty quickly.

Evening all, I'm looking for a case to fit one of these basses. It's a tricky business, as they are long, and the headstock is swept back so a deep case is needed. Does anyone know of an off the shelf case that will work for these, or would anyone be able to reccomend a case maker? It's worth noting that I do not want a flight case. Just a hard case would be fine, or even more ideally, one of those hard/soft cases if I could find one to fit.. Any help or steers gratefully appreciated. Stuart

After an unpleasant incident involving a gig bag, a floor and a detached headstock, I have come to the conclusion that my days of using gig bags are over. So here's my question. I have a couple of generic square hard cases, and I use two matching, but odd shaped basses. Does anyone know of a maker of shaped, foam inserts for square hard cases? Thanks gents...

They'll certainly be up for a live band - I think for the smaller room it's sixty quid to hire it (for an evening band type function) and you get that back if there's a certain amount spent over the bar. £400 rings a bell. It would probably be best if we came up with a couple of dates and then I approach them. Any thoughts...?

I'm up for it. Any thoughts as to a venue? The Hunter Club in Bury St Eds is nice, they don''t seem to do much with the rooms in the day, so I'll happily have a word and see if one can be wangled....

Looks like these ones are for the later series six and onwards. Mine is a series 5 and the knobs look a bit different. Thanks for the steer though, much appreciated!

Evening all, would anyone happen to know a source for those little white TE fader knobs? Thanks in advance! Stuart

So, pardon my ignorance, and double pardon me for hijacking the thread slightly, but what is an Odyssey and whom is Atilla Balough? And what is that Japanese copy? They might well be the coolest things I have ever seen....
