1. His descriptions are very well thought through mind. His verdict on the Satellite bass: "1970's Vintage Short Scale Satellite Bass, Well preserved & Fully Functional.." To which I could only add ".....and still sh*t."
2. Good grief. Still waiting for stock? This is like pulling teeth! Thanks for the info Clivem.
3. So has anyone got the Thunderbird then?
4. Of course. No offence meant. I was being slightly ironic.
5. The Precise ones? They are wonderful machines, it must be said. I have a couple of them, both 77 ish I think. The necks are very different, interestingly. One has a skunk stripe and is quite a shallow D profile, the other does not and is a more chunky 'c'. Bloody good basses though. Give my US's p's a run for their money....Anyhow, getting back to the subject in hand your SB is a fantastic bass. GLWTS!
6. He's right, you will. This makes a precision look like a wooden spoon....
7. That is utterly awesome. GLWTS.
8. That is a genuinely lovely looking bass.Hint of Wal about it I fancy. GLWTS.

12. Lovely looking bass that. GLWTS.
13. I have no idea why the font appeared so small....
14. Just purchased a Dimarzio P bass pickup off Ian. Very easy to deal with, item in excellent condition, well packed and arrived swiftly. Nice chap. Recomended.
15. "I'm not going to lie and say it's flawless" He's got that one right anyway. Lovely bass tho, for not a lot of money at the mo. I do like that headstock shape.
16. Great basses these. I bought one off eBay about six months ago. As others have said, they balance well, sound good and play nicely. I suppose they are a bit marmite because of the shape, but I've always had a bit of a weakness for an ugly duckling. I have to say, full credit to Adam Clayton for not just going for another Fender signature...even though he's done a Fender signature since...and a streamer signature....ermmmm...GLWTS Karl.....;0)
17. Traded my Supertone bridge for Francis' EMG P pickup. Easy deal, lovely chap. Highly recommended.
18. hello Everyone, don't need cash for this, but would love a Seymour Duncan quarter pounder for a P bass, or some other sort of decent P bass pickup. Hit me with trades!
19. Just bought a Tony Butler P bass off Dunc. Very easy and straightforward. Highly recommended. Deal with confidence. Stuart

Just bought a set of hipshot tuners from Bren. Great comms, easy deal and they turned up promptly. The packing was absolutely first class. If the nuclear holocaust had occurred whilst those tuners were in transit, they would have emerged unscathed.
21. Glorious looking machine that. Have a bump. GLWTS
22. I suppose that a build this radical will always be a bit 'marmite'- you either love it or hate it. Whichever side of that divide you fall on, you have to admire the skill involved in the building and Mick's courage in coming up with the concept. Lets face it, it's certainly not a P bass! Superb work Andy. Mick, I hope you garner many years of enjoyment from the finished article.
