  1. B****x... unless you fancy an EA iAmp 350 1x10 combo plus cash (or various other items from Aladdin's cave) I'm out.... I have a Tech 1x15 which is fabby and am sure this would be monster with my iAmp800.
  2. Have owned several V8's and played with V4's... the V6 wins hands down on attack, clarity, headroom and delicacy.. odd combination but exceptional amps... unless you have a particular interest in the contents (mostly clothes and bric-a-brac) of our garage I'll have to pass ..BUT.. if you fancy a tube head these are fantastic... I used it in a loud rock scenario with a 410 and never had any issues.
  3. Just bought a Low Down 110 from Alan, really easy; goods well packed and as listed, great comms; totally recommended.
  4. ta much, also wish i had the cash as it's a great looking/sounding bass
  5. Hi there, lovely sound, not trying to hijack the thread but what FX are you using in the vid?
  6. pix are a good place to start... aswell as a firm commitment to send it to me for safe keeping whilst you ponder...
  7. had a go on this... plays great and sounds exactly like... a 70's P bass. the neck is really quick with a nice low action and it's not too heavy either. Dear Sanity Clause...
  8. I played this the other day with a MIM Jazz, you got to love the relaxed natural sound... worth mentioning that it's silent in operation, if you're going to be recording or close mic'd (e.g. pit work) it's the very berries.
  9. Had one of these, loud!!! Weighty but worth it... Waaaayyyy more than you'd think for the size.. Uke; you did make a good call....IMHO
  10. Me too.. going to buy the book.. thanks Andy
  11. Beautiful... skint... nuff said
  12. Can't believe the price here... fantastic value.. had a Diesel 115 (same box but to flight trim) and it was awesome!! You won't get more for the dosh!

My doctor says I must be at least two people... if BMI goes for owt. Glad (and thanks to all those who sorted it) we're back on track.. felt VERY strange over the past couple of days, BC is definitely addictive (hence my inflated BMI.. well that's my excuse).
  14. I [s]love[/s], [s]hate[/s], [s]love[/s]... ugghhhh this place, no money and this is gorgeous and IMHO fabby value... could offer half an hour in my garage with a trolley and you can keep what you find? (no car I'm afraid and you'd have to like Beanie Bears... ) Good luck with this.
  15. Oh ****er, been looking for another (have one already)...hmmmm
  16. Hi there, is the neo 112 a series l or ll? Thanks
  17. Have one of these in Red Blonde; fantastic value at this price; also a good gay to deal with.. can't lose...
  18. Got an 800 head and 350 combo.. also love the sound of this gear, thought and think this is a bargain.. I assume as it's 2 fans they run slower and so quieter.
  19. I have a same era 6P, these are fantastic instruments; very versatile. Great value (IMHO) here. Good luck, someone will be very happy.
  20. Just completed a sale; couldn't have been easier. Great guy to deal with.
  21. Just concluded what was an quick and easy transaction, Pleasure doing business. Rumour6
  22. Hi there, it's a ply top as far as I can tell, the only label I can see says: Excelsior Foreign, 50/2 3/4 Boosey & Hawkes Sorry but other than that I've no info. It plays easily enough and is totally stable so no need to do anything right away if at all. Hope this helps.
  23. Hi all, got a Frudua GF J5 in very good nick... [attachment=121810:IMAG0008.jpg] Active/Passive switch; rear pickup can be single (rear) coil only or humbucking. Vol/Bal/Active Tr & Bass and a 'Tone' when in passive mode. 9.5 out of 10 condition. It's the 34" scale version. Has original lightweight gig bag but I will include a Hiscox Lite Flite in the price. Fantastic value at around £900 direct from the maker... EVEN better value at £550 delivered (UK Mainland only) Had some questions so some more info... Neck is rock solid if you look online you'll see it extends right to the front pickup cavity and is held in place by six recessed/threaded bolts (like a GB) it's currently set with a low action, string spacing at the bridge is 19mm and 9 mm at the nut, Double acting truss so you can do what you like adjustment wise. It's got the same high gloss finish as a seventies Fender on the body and the neck (front and back) which is slim back to front; feels like a Jazz... B is tight and tonally sympathetic to the other strings, not boomy or 'different' sounding. Weight I'm not sure on and don't have scales at the mo... similar to MM Stingray 5 nowhere near as heavy as my TRB6P, a Wal5 or a Thumb 6NT. Thanks for looking
