    Three weeks... that's nearly vintage.... worst I've done was buy a bass (Dan Armstong medium scale...30 yrs ago)... got home.... got back on the bus and traded it... good luck with the sale

    I posted the other day saying that an Alembic was 'IT'... wrong.... yearn, yearn, no money but your bass is 'beyond'.... couldn't you whistle and pretend the turbo was working and keep the bass???     Not quite my cup of tea playing wise as I've found out down the years... and way too expensive for me ...BUT... [b]always coveted one[/b], always seemed to me to be 'the ultimate bass' .... sad fat bloke dreams on. thinks; where's that lottery ticket..... Good luck for a gorgeous instrument.

    Thanks for that... it's an odd (but good) feeling to know we look out for one another...all I need is someone with a 5 string fretless Spitfire that want to upgrade... more realistically I think I'll buy some cider Andy

    Rumour 6 Burr Thulia with matching headstock.. unlined ebony board virtually as new with Hiscox as supplied by Bernie.     Hi there I got one of these... you tend to wonder how they'll cope ..I use a Stingray5 fretted and a GB Rumour 6 Fretless at rehearsals with drums and acoustic through a PA and Guitar albeit through a Peavey mini combo.. I 've also used it for live BBC sessions and they were happy as it's a known Industry standard..... I paid more second hand and mine did not have a bag.... and I think I got a good deal..someone buy it .. actually take your Bass ad try it first then it's a no brainer.... good luck with the sale man .     Hi there, the ECI (Earth Continuity Indicator) is designed to flash if the circuit detects an earthing fault either in the ring the amp is plugged in to, in its own power cord, or internally...least that's how I got it explained to me by Trace when I bought my brand new 1812 stack with AH400 bi-amp head back in 1984.... gives away age...whilst they can develop faults, it may be worth sticking a Martindale tester in the wall socket just in case, double checking your power cord and if all that checks out OK gettng a teck to have a quick look. old man in the far north....
