    I'm sure it's lame, but its certainly not up to scratch with other offerings. The unit without that circuit would be awesome though to reduce the footprint. That EQ section is really awesome.

    I’ve used so many different ones that I’ve lost track. There are 3 which I have used for long periods of time and each were lovely in their each way, any of those would be a great addition IMO: 3 Leaf Enabler Ampeg SCR-DI EBS Microbass II Thr EBS and 3 Leaf are both very clean, though the 3 Leaf has a little more warmth on tap. The Ampeg is much ‘bigger’ sounding and goes from fairly clean to really dirty.

    Ha! I had (spend most of my time pushing buttons!) - A reunion gig at Rock City Nottingham in June with the rock band I was in, in my early 20's is looming... and I needed a rig... and I missed playing too

    NOW TRADED! Up for sale is my really quite excellent Ampeg SCR-DI pedal. Easily the nicest sounding preamp/DI pedal I've ever had the pleasure of owning, plus it has an Ampeg scrambler drive pedal built in too. I've been using this for an amp-less solution for some time and it's been a joy. The band I am working with really want me to run a backline again, so this is on the chopping block as it's not going to see the use it deserves. Price drop: I am now asking £125 including shipping in the UK, which I think is a total bargain! I would consider a trade or part ex with a gnarly Distortion/OD/drive pedal (something big and brutal sounding). May consider a couple of cheaper pedals for this one so long as one of them fits the description above! The unit is in excellent condition and has never been used in anger. It comes with the original box (box has some wear) but no manual, though this is downloadable from the Ampeg website. Any questions, get in touch!

    You’re not planning any trips up north soon are you to the midlands? I really want this and think the price is excellent, but the drive to Brighton just makes it a no go.

    I have a set of DR Neon Orange strings. They have been cut down to fit a 34" scale Zon (2 + 2 headstock), and have had roughly an hours use (decided the bass wasn't for me, but kept the expensive strings). Asking £15 posted in the UK.
