1. At the studio tonight just adding the last bits of cabling to the new upgraded version... Still no casters though... Pics later
2. I absolutely LOVE this bass....
3. +1 on the above. I've experienced the exact same thing. Changed the power supply and it was still there. Removed every pedal and cable in turn to find the source - still there. Ended up being the way a certain cable interacted with a certain pedal and both had to be changed. I was convinced it was the power supply. I used a Diago Powerstation for a few years and it was, in my experience, completely hum free
4.
I think a good pedal board that has your sound & is fairly compact (if needed) is worth it's wieght in gold. I'm scared to think what wieght Shep's board would be!
It's borderline 2 man carry... I can just manage it on my own. Certainly more than my cab
5. Also picked up an EP-2. Bargain price, pristine condition. Cheers bud!
6. And another... Easy transaction, quick postage and perfect communication! Shep
7. I use a Moog Ring Modulator on it's slow setting as my Trem. It's the smoothest Trem I've ever heard! The EBS TremoLo is very good though, had a good play with one last month. That and the DPhaser as awesome.
8. Hiya, Any interest in a trade? A compressor is top of my list... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=127007 Shep
9. April 1st coming up. New financial year. East midlands sales rep position on the cards? Just finished and released the EP for my Dubstep project… Roscoe performed stunningly… Such an amazing bass Mark, thanks for enlightening me!
10. Dan is a top chap. He bought my EBS Proline cab, great comm's and no problems. Friendly and genuine. Cheers bud, enjoy the cab! Shep
11. Laughing was not 1st on my agenda when I did it. I about pooped my pants
12. Jose bough a volume pedal off me. Easy transaction. Cheers bud! Shep
13. Bought a cab from Stevie. UPS decided to damage it. Thankfully Stevie is a straight up bloke and remained in touch through the entire claims process to ensure i ended up with the item I paid for. Top bloke. Thanks again for all the help! Shep
14. Cool stuff Andy. Will be killer when you get the larger board sorted. I love the Boss Phaser Shifter... In the step up mode it's amazing after fuzz!
15. Was worth the ask. I don't exactly NEED a second Whammy 4... But the ideas were flowing
16. Not interested in a trade on your Whammy 4 for my Korg Electribe by any chance?
17. Cheers for the downloads folks... Everyone seems to have an email address I recognise form dealings on Basschat! I'm honoured to of had this mentioned on Moog Music Inc's Facebook page and Twitter feed today! Chuffed to bits
18. Give Silent Fly a shout (SFX) he is quite literally an effects genius.
19.
This one's mine now. I call it Poirot, can you see why ?
I love this one... Would love to have this in my collection
20. Long shot maybe, but any interest in a trade? - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=127007
21.
sounding good on my wharfedales. nice work.
Good to hear. My Cambridge Audio's struggle slightly in places
You get some pretty amazing sounds on there. Awesome stuff! Your drummer is right on the money too.
Thanks bud
22.
Shep, when's the tracks gonna be ready? Looking forward to hearing it.
Well… It's done!!! We'll prob re-master it shortly as theres a tiny bit to much gain on a couple of opening notes and in certain areas of 'Face 4 Radio' making my speakers shake a little too much, but I'll swap out these tracks when we do that. Its a minor point. The mix is done and here's the EP. Performed live with a few technical tweeks from Johnny Carter in the studio. Everything you hear that is not a drum beat came from my bass & pedals... http://ourhelicalmind.bandcamp.com Lemme know what you think (and buy it if you're feeling generous!) Anyone interested in what I used for sounds on certain sections etc just ask. On the dispute of Octave pedals which has gone on a fair bit during this thread, each track uses my OC-2 set to Octave-1 at full and Octave-2 and dry off (So just a pure Octave down) on all 3 tracks start to finish. Shep
23. You could say I use one or two effects… But its hard to play a 'synth-bass' setup without them… You'll find all this answered plus a million more questions in the effects forum.
24.
Can you put a word in for us then at the next Admin tête-à-tête Shep? You can be our union rep.
I'll see what I can do Shep
