1. I've ordered from them. It was sent the following day and arrived a day later via courier. Well packaged in a proper box. Set up was great where action was concerned and had definitely been checked over. The intonation was shocking though, it was miles out so I had to set the bass up again. No big deal as I've always wanted to set up a bass 'for me' when I've bought it. In my experience they have been the best online retailer to buy an instrument from. Shep
2. Love the board dude. This bass is going to rock!
3. Keith made the journey to Nottingham today in light of us trading his EA Wizzy & LM250 for my Ibanez Ashula bass. Keith's a top bloke, very friendly and very knowledgable. Please to meet you and I hope you enjoy the bass! All the best, Shep
4.
Dont let strangers in your house! Theres got to be at least one BCer that'll try and steal that board and sell it for crack.
Ha. The board won't fit in my house
5.
that's a beauty of a board Shep ! i may just have to pay another visit to Nottingham soon..
Anytime dude. That goes for anyone really!
6. I love this. So different and unique. I'd love to own this beauty.
7. Pants. I was aiming to of had the money for this by tomorrow! Glad you sold it easily bud! Shep
8. My Drum & Bass project moved into our new rehearsal space tonight. Got my gear set up so it's just plug in and play... Board hasn't changed too much, but the application of expression pedals etc is a little different and it's powered more efficiently now. The space on the board should of been filled with my Myrtle Effects Corvid Fuzz.
9. Exchanged a pedal with Theo… Transaction went smoothly and item arrived well packaged, safe and sound. Great stuff. Cheers bud! Shep
10.
P.S. Make sure he shows you his pedal board - it is awe-inspiring!
Hahaha... If you find yourself in Nottingham again let me know and we'll fire it all up next time... The street lights flicker when you do
11. This will be killer... Can't wait to see progress shots...
12. Did a trade with Charlie. My EBS Fafner for his EBS TD650... Both great amp, but we both realised the other had benefits over the one we owned. Easy transaction, great chap and hassle free. Cheers bud Shep
13. Andrew is pretty new to BassChat but don't let that put you off. I insisted on no international shipping, so he had a grown in the UK come and collect on his behalf. Great communication and no issues at all. Cheers!
14.
Shep Thank you for EBS 115NEO cab is great, great results in my stack.
Great stuff Andrew, looks fantastic. Hope your loving the sound! Shep
15. It's already mentioned, but mine is for sale at the mo. You'll also find an in-depth review of it with a link in my signature.... It's quite an impressive beast really.very love or hate though, it certainly isn't going to be for everyone.
16. I've generally found Mark @ Bass Direct has offered the best trade-in prices if your part chopping against his stock. It's still much lower than you'd get if you held out for a private sale, but certainly more than other music shops have quoted me for stuff in the past... He'll even try and sell it in the shop for you and just take a commission on the sale... Bass Direct attracts a wider audience for shopping than Basschat..... Might be worth considering.
17. Many UK Luthiers will. But most would charge a huge surcharge for something truly custom. Everson comes to mind for one up for custom shapes. Robbie/RIM Basses is worth asking as well Shep
18. Ha... Don't worry dude. I'm not castin your craftsmanship aside. Don't worry. I'll remain faithful
19. Maybe... Don't tempt fate though Robbie... Also depends on how Berbie feels about shipping it in cold weather (new necks and all that), as getting to Brighton at the mo without a car is one he'll of a long an expensive trip!
