1. Agree about the 1st post update.. This threads getting quite long. Maybe a list... Times, cost, address, parkin details etc etc. Seriously looking forward to this now. Going to be a great day. Are sorting any sort of name badges so we can be identified as our forum user names without having 20 real names & forum names to try and remember. Might avoid everyone calling each other 'mate' all day! Shep
2. Thought I'd better add a few bits to my gear list... Pedalboard from my Drum & Bass project - More info etc here in the Basschat pedalboard thread - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?s=&sho...t&p=1022086 Also, My RIM Marseer 6 - Pics and info here in the Porn section - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;#entry1023834 Also from start in the Build diary - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88195

4. And a few more…

6.
yet another first class Basschatter!
Unlike Royal Mail
7. A couple of pics from Robbie... And the happy customer shot (yes, I am THAT short, and yes, I do REALLY need a shave )...
8. I bought a DVD from Gareth and Royal Fail completely let us down and lost it Thankfully Gareth is a gentleman and not only stayed in touch during the 'will it turn up' period, but also agreed to split the loss when it was clear it had gone for good. Sorry it didn't work out with the postman, but cheers for being cool! Shep
9.
That is truly a thing of beauty - nice one to both you and Robbie. If Id built that I would never let it out of my site I have a question tho, the dark line between the myrtle top and the main body wood, is that a fillet of some other wood in between the two? or paint? cant figure that on out
It's a 1mm layer of Ebony dividing the facing and the body. A nice added touch I think!
10. Saw this earlier. Anything with JoJo Mayer on drums is worth listening to Oh yeah... The bass ain't bad either... Lol
11. Thanks guys. I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be. What takes me the most is the weight! My Roscoe is particularly light for a 6 string (about 9lbs), this is even lighter! The balance is perfect as well. When you pick it up you'd think it was a chambered bass! The sound is fantastic also. It's definitely a bass where I will use the pre a fair bit. The natural flat sound is quite low mi heavy, largely due to the pickup. It has a soft, warm jazz tone, owing itself well to a reggae/dub kind of sound. It's nice to have something that sounds a little more traditional as I'm used to having a GB as my only fretted bass which is full of highs. The Agi preamp has plenty of room to move with some nice zingy highs and fat subby bass... It's a bass that I'll enjoy tweaking. Shep
12. NOW SOLD Hi guys, I have a brand new Pro Bass Comfort Strapp in size small (33" - 37"). I've done nothing but put strap-locks on it, fit it to a bass and realise it's about 2-3" too short for me. Amazing straps… literally makes your bass feel a good kilo lighter. Other than the holes showing signs that I put strap locks on it, this is spotless and basically unused. These are £30 from Bass Direct from where it was purchased (plus £4 postage) and I'm asking £25 posted in the UK as I already have the longer one for me. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...rt_Strapps.html Shep
13. As I said I would, I have upgraded the knobs with Hipshot O-Ring knobs. They feel much more positive and don't look cheap like I stole them off the front on the oven! Huge cosmetic difference and a small increase in under-finger precision when knob twiddling!
14. And a few more…
15. Its here. Robbie stopped by for a coffee and a crumpet, had a good chat and played some bass… A few pics from me…
16. How dare you use my pics!!!!!!! Joke These are fantastic little combo's. The best you can buy for the money. If I needed a small practice amp still I would buy one of these again without hesitation! Shep
17.
I was thinking more like a mermaid.
Lol. At this rate I might dscover the secret to the Da Vinci Code hidden within its grain! I thought I was commissioning a bass, but I seem to have discovered the unwritten secrets of life. Damn fine work Robbie
18. Today is the day!!!!!!!!
19. Hi Rob, Welcome to Basschat. There is an affliates forum for bass builders etc. I'd suggest contacting a moderator in regards to using that to advertise and sell your wares an services. Do you have a website, or online gallery... Or even a few pictures of your work that we can sneak a peak at? Shep
20.
Post 63 - the room is booked from 1pm to 6pm. Looking forward to it - looks like there's going to be some fantastic gear there!
Cheers bud! I will unfortunately not be bringing the EBS rig now, but looking at post one we may run out of space for amps! My RIM Marseer is being delivered tomorrow though so happily I will definitely have that to bring along
21. Sorry of this has been covered already... What time are things being kicked off next Saturday? Do we have to vacate by a certain time? Shep
22. I emailed Moog earlier and they just replied.. Basically they informed me that the Diago supplies work with the red tips but hiss like a bastard. Apparently any multipower system will do the same. The only ones that keep them quiet are those with isolated power outputs, or to use a virtual battery for each. They recommend using separate power supplies over any system... Those which have isolated outputs are far more expensive than I'm happy to pay.
23.
it's just that they have a picture of a moog in their diagram that made me draw that conclusion the blue one is a jack, so i was wrong about that.. http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-power/pedal-p...structions.html i use mine with a mb compressore 12v, mxr blowtorch (18v with adaptor) and a bunch of other pedals and it never seems to mind anything. magic little boxes.
Your not wrong! I'd read somewhere that Moogerfoogers didn't like sharing power supplies (like line6 ToneCore stuff) but I can no longer find that webpage and this seems to imply otherwise!
24.
Both Diago Tourmans - same size!
I think you had quite a few more pedals though if I recall... Lots of smaller stomp boxes...? Not got any George L's left you want to part with do ya?
25.
can't you daisy-chain the diago and use red adaptors for the moog or blue (longer barrel) ? or have i got that wrong ? if 1 powerstation won't do the lot, then two might be the way forward..they don't seem to mind a mix of 9 & 12v imo.. with the exception of the 24-v pedal.
Hmmmm the red one might in theory... Anyone have an experience of doing this with a Moogerfooger? Shep
