1. This is no longer for trade as I have just found out I won the TC Electronic facebook competition for a BG500!!! Shocked!! This is now for sale. £160 collected.

3.
Blimey, Chad Kroger moonlighting.
He's going to love that... And ironically I never noticed before.
I like the way the line on the wall follows your band's average height median
Ha! Awesome...
The dude second from left has totally nailed the "breaking the 4th wall stare"...
Frank has the best stare the world has ever known... He is capable of making members of the audience burst into flames under the intensitiy of his stare... Honest
4. Taken this week at a band photo shoot - I'm the short one on the far right…
5. SOLD Hi people, I have just taken receipt of this utterly fantastic bit of kit. The tone is solid with a huge amount of bottom end on tap. It's compact, light and very pretty... Unfortunately, whilst it is damn loud for 100w, I have to accept that I need to spend a few pennies and get something with some serious power for playing along side a loud drummer and lots of synth. Of I didn't already own an EBS Session 60, this would stay. Hopefully the previous owner won't mind me using his pics! The rig is in fact very small, delivering 100w into a compact 2x10. Designed as a practice rig, it is suitable for small gigs and rehearsal. Anyone wanting a compact, light rig without the MarkBass/Genz Benz price tag... Look no further! Facts & Figures... HEAD W: 17.5" H: 8" D: 9" Weight: 10kg CAB W: 17.5" H: 23" D: 10" Weight: 17kg Running a bass with an 18v preamp, and with the amp volume and gain on max and you'll still hardly make it peak. Handles a low B absolutely fantastically as well! Due to being rather lucky I am no longer looking for a trade on this unless you have an Ashbory :-) I am asking £160 collected from Nottingham, and will include a super expensive Neutrik speaker lead I had made for me today! Shep
6. Did a deal with Nick on his Five Fifteen mini rig. Top bloke, great comma and delivered for me due to my transport restraints. Very very happy!
7.
argh~!! get it done quick, just looking down the pics creaming, and no finished article, i may be nearly as excited as you!!
Ha! Send Robbie a message and tell him to hurry up for me! ha.
8. Buy a Fafner or TD650.... You'll never look back!
9. I use an EBS Neo 212.... Awesome cab. Inise an EBS Fafner though it. All I could ever need. I also own an EBS Neo 115, and have no idea why... I'd be happy just using either!
10. Someone buy this bass... I doubt any bass on earth under £1500 comes close to this... Celinder = Awesomness!
11. I own one... So does Bassnut62 on this very forum. It's good enough to give up my DiscumBOBulator for and the day I bought I also tried a Meatwad. I chose the GR simply as it triggered perfectly on the low B and tonaly, to me, sounded much nicer than the Meatwad. The 3Leaf for me is a winner of a pedal. Fantastic value for money. A very very worthwhile purchase for anyone for under £150 Shipped to the UK.
12.
Looking awesome dude
Cheers dude, Yeah, I'm really look forward to this.
13. I used to own one. I downsized from a big 8x10 rig to it for a tour and ended up using it as my main amp for 2 years! I played main stage at Nottingham Rock City and the sound man was like 'that'll never fill this place'... I got the last laugh after he asked me to turn it down from 50% volume to around 30%! The loudest small combo I've ever hear Barr none. Great tone, huuuuuuge bottom end. But it is VERY heavy for it's size
14. Cool cheers for that. I am having to run the combo pretty flat out and throwing lots of effects at it. I have seen video's of the Ashdown mini rig keeping up with drums and guitars without having to max out the volume, and I'm only playing with a drummer, no guitars to worry about. Hopefully it will have enough additional headroom over the EBS to male it worth while.
15. Using my EBS session 60 tonight for a small rehearsal with my drummer and I think I almost killed it. I use lots of effects with this project and i hot a spot with octave and envelope and my speaker literally stuttered... A split second of silence, a crackle, pop and back to normal again... As of next week i will have a Ashdown Five Fifteen 100w mini rig to tale it's place which I'm sure won't struggle at all... But can I assume I am currently pushing my EBS combo to the point of destruction?
16.
is the banner in your sig a link to your 2-piece band? if so, you guys sound massive
Ha... No, Aphemia is a 5 piece! I use zero pedals for Aphemia as we have a synth player. My 2 piece is a drum and bass outfit, similar to Jojo Mayer & Nerve, mixed with Crystal Method. Not done any recordings yet, soon though!
17. I was not using octave of any sort… so I sold the Octabass, as I needed the money for something else. ironically, a month or so later I needed an Octave again… I was going to re-buy the Octabass but thought I'd try a few others on the off chance and was quite shocked to hear how much more natural the MXR Octave and Octave Deluxe sounded. The Octabass sounds almost computerised in comparison. Its not a bad sound… just preference was on the MXR for me! Oh, and the MXR tracks much better!
18. Agreed... It even eliminates the need for a synth or keys player meaning we can stay a 2 piece...
19. For competion sake... The full bass as used with the Drum & Bass project... At times I am recording a phrase on the DD20, then recording a phrase of the phrase onto the SL20, then playing over it.... Complex... But fun!
20. Bernie called today with a few ideas to run by me and to take a few measurements for my neck preference... Pictures are still 'on the way' but sounds like progress is happening! Shep
21. Provided Robbie with measurements for the location of the pickups... Here's the results! (Not my Fretboard, it's just there to get an idea of positioning on the template.
22. No no no.... The larger units happily sit on the floor (SL-20 and DD-20) and the tuner only goes where my main rig doesn't (as there is a Korg rack tuner with it). I am not taking a bigger board again... I can carry this one!
23. Blimey I forgot about this.... So.... Are we doing this during 2010?
