1. It's a little hard to explain... I've never really got tongrips with it. The dial adjutant the level of feedback, it's very subtle until you hit the 'feedback point' which seems to be different for each pedal. When you hit the spot so to speak it makes some crazy swirly sounds or huge screams and bird songs for envelope filter. I'd say it sounds like multiple layers when you crank it up. If you want a more technical description of how it works in terms of layers I'd drop 'umph' as PM as he built it.
2. EBS Octabass, MXR Bass Blowtorch, Tech 21 XXL & sfx Interface Box all sold. Prices on the pedals now includes P&P. Shipping terms on the PedalTrain still stands. Still looking for a PedalTrain Mini... May also be interested still in a nice 6 or 7 string for the remaining stuff plus cash your way!
3. Pics please for possible interest.
4. Thats better!!! :-) Love the last one! (Sure the 2nd one is Duck egg? Looks very very white to me!?) Shep
5. This has all been a little quiet since the cake photo's! No one got any new pics? Surely EBS_Freak has a few hiding away!
6. Yup. Dingwalls get nicer and nicer
7. This really is beautiful. One of my fav's on BC at the mo. Would love to add this to my collection. Been checking out the HUMAN BASE website today. Some very pretty stuff on there and this is up there with the nicest. Shep
8. I'm loving the Dingwall's! I noticed the Afterburner II 6 string that Mark has in at Bass Direct... I'm very very tempted...
9. It's still here!??? Seeing this just upsets me. Soooo awesome! Call it £1000 an I'll take it now
10.
Could you do the EBS Octave for £65 posted?? cheers D.
PM'd bud
11. EBS as well. If I use Compression my fav is thankfully built into my EBS Fafner amp head… amazing onboard compressor. But in pedal format I find the EBS Multicomp to b very close to what my amp has. Great pedal if you play and slap/pic based stuff!
12. Listen to Doddy. DiscumBOBulator is the way!
13. Taken at a gig last Friday night. I played in a 3 piece accoustic line up, at a friends 30th fancy dress birthday party, in their front room, to an audience of about 30. It was surreal. But good...
14. The above pedal board is up for grabs. My Spitfire 6 is underway, and I have my eye on having a RIM Marseer 6 built. All exciting. As soon as I have some pics of progress etc for the Spitfire I'll post them.
15.
Mmmmm Lovely No cash alas!
My thoughts exactly!
16. Tasty basses. I used to own the same but in Blueberry burst. Luthier build quality neck. I'd sticky head out and say the best production line necks on any 'off the shelf' basses out there!
17.
Really dissapointed in lack of offers/response on this, if anyone spots a problem or has a suggestion, please pm me
I agree! Been watching this since it went up. It's truely beautiful. I don't think there's any problem with the listing or the price... Just te Market place at the mo. Bump for an awesome bass!
18.
Nottingham Drum Centre? Say hi to Dave from Rich (from OutToPlayJazz.)
Will do mate. Big D is the man
19. No worries, if you want more about the technology involved and exactly how it does it then I'd give Max (Silent Fly) a shout... I left those details of the build to him Also, I decided to sit and worth out actual costs for this and the purchase prices based on online retail is pennies short of £1400! That works as a good basis for trades on basses worth similar, an I am happy to put some cah down towards more expensive gear. I would also accept £1000 cash sale.
20. Lovely. I ironically a chap bought one of these into me yesterday at Nottingham Drum & Guitar centre (but it was a natural finish), which had a number of electronic issues. Thankfully I was able to fix all of the issues with switch cleaner! :-) Was very impressed with how well they play. I guess I have become jade with what I know of Weststone from the last 10 years or so
21. Where in the world are you located? How much will shipping likely cost? How old is it? Does it come with the Warwick case/strap locks/truss rod tool etc?
22. Poor advertising is the reason for that!
23. These are very cool and look awesome in the flesh. It's hard to describe how light these are until you pick one up. If I was a 4 string man, or had a bit of spare cash for it to look sexy in the front room I'd have it. This is a bargain... Someone needs to snap this up quick.
24.
Dude could you share some more about that custom rf etc filter? I'm always curious about such things after working in hifi for years.
Here you go dude… http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=787781 You basically plug your instrument into it and it goes out to the amp, so its the first and last thing in the loop. Power supply goes into it and then the daisy chains come out of it, rather than it just being one of the pedals powered on the chain. Works great, no worries about sh*te power supply in venues destroying my pedals anymore. The RF filter is just an added bonus :-) Shep
