1. Listen to Doddy. DiscumBOBulator is the way!
2. Taken at a gig last Friday night. I played in a 3 piece accoustic line up, at a friends 30th fancy dress birthday party, in their front room, to an audience of about 30. It was surreal. But good...
3. The above pedal board is up for grabs. My Spitfire 6 is underway, and I have my eye on having a RIM Marseer 6 built. All exciting. As soon as I have some pics of progress etc for the Spitfire I'll post them.
4.
Mmmmm Lovely No cash alas!
My thoughts exactly!
5. Tasty basses. I used to own the same but in Blueberry burst. Luthier build quality neck. I'd sticky head out and say the best production line necks on any 'off the shelf' basses out there!
6.
Really dissapointed in lack of offers/response on this, if anyone spots a problem or has a suggestion, please pm me
I agree! Been watching this since it went up. It's truely beautiful. I don't think there's any problem with the listing or the price... Just te Market place at the mo. Bump for an awesome bass!
7.
Nottingham Drum Centre? Say hi to Dave from Rich (from OutToPlayJazz.)
Will do mate. Big D is the man
8. No worries, if you want more about the technology involved and exactly how it does it then I'd give Max (Silent Fly) a shout... I left those details of the build to him Also, I decided to sit and worth out actual costs for this and the purchase prices based on online retail is pennies short of £1400! That works as a good basis for trades on basses worth similar, an I am happy to put some cah down towards more expensive gear. I would also accept £1000 cash sale.
9. Lovely. I ironically a chap bought one of these into me yesterday at Nottingham Drum & Guitar centre (but it was a natural finish), which had a number of electronic issues. Thankfully I was able to fix all of the issues with switch cleaner! :-) Was very impressed with how well they play. I guess I have become jade with what I know of Weststone from the last 10 years or so
10. Where in the world are you located? How much will shipping likely cost? How old is it? Does it come with the Warwick case/strap locks/truss rod tool etc?
11. These are very cool and look awesome in the flesh. It's hard to describe how light these are until you pick one up. If I was a 4 string man, or had a bit of spare cash for it to look sexy in the front room I'd have it. This is a bargain... Someone needs to snap this up quick.
12.
Dude could you share some more about that custom rf etc filter? I'm always curious about such things after working in hifi for years.
Here you go dude… http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=787781 You basically plug your instrument into it and it goes out to the amp, so its the first and last thing in the loop. Power supply goes into it and then the daisy chains come out of it, rather than it just being one of the pedals powered on the chain. Works great, no worries about sh*te power supply in venues destroying my pedals anymore. The RF filter is just an added bonus :-) Shep
13. Maybe dude. Things can always be bought again though… It won't go anywhere unless the right offer comes along. The DiscumBOBulator in the feedback loop sounds like a female scream. In fact, if you get the feedback just right its quite scary how 'human' it can sound.

15. Not thinkin of shifting the 6 string LX?
16. Anyone had anymore thoughts in this?
17. Surely more of us can add to this... Or are we all that ashamed of our musical exploits
18. I wasn't pretty enough to make it into the pictures :-(
19. I have slowly fallen in love with the clean bass sound again... And how much I can do with just the onboard pre on a bass. Plus the band Im now with, so really do hope to stay with for time to come just have no need fo anything but a good solid tone. We tried lots of cool stuff, but it all just seems overkill with the synth player. I may as well have my moneys worth in gear I'll be using constantly, rather than sat at home for noodling with. That set, I love the setup and won't be selling it off in bits... I'll either get the right deal or I'll keep it all for a rainy day when I'm bored
20. OldGit was snapping away, hopefully he'll post them soon!
21.
I managed to break a sensor valve on my wheel as I was preparing to leave. Had to go all the way back to Maidenhead to get the locking wheel nut (I know, I know) so basically didn't get that sorted until 4ish. Ballache.
A fine excuse... :-)
