9.
Happy Christmas! Bump
Same to you too mate! :-) Will now consider a trade for ebs Fafner or 650 head (or part ex with a 350) if you have one going spare, but still not considering other trades. Shep
10. Bump... I'm available upto and including Xmas eve if you want to come and pick up a lovely Thumb shaped Xmas presie... :-)
11. Withdrawn
12. For anyone unsure about this bass... I can tell you it is absolutely stunning and a dream to play... Absolutely amazing. Plus Jazz is a genuinly top guy to deal with, very helpful and full of wisdom!
13. Bought a Tech 21 XXL from Paul, great to deal with and no issues at all. Great stuff! Shep
14. Externally, the scratch plate is different and the pick up in a slightly different place, but I can't recall what else, or which is which. When I had mine about 7 years ago the head stock said Status Shark II, which is the only reason I know a 'II' model exists... If you look at the version on the bay, the scratch plate does not have the 'horn' with the dials mounted on it and th pick up is further back... Yours is prettier the way it is though without a doubt!
15. When my Thumb sells I am very very tempted. Also tempted by the almost identical fretless model on eBay...they would make an awesome pair... One of them is a shark and one is shark II if I'm not mistaken... Which is yours?
16. Many of the older Boss pedals do seem to be at least as good as the current range, most better. Not had the chance to try a vintage delay, but I do like my DD-3. Go for the flanger... In fact, buy mine!
17.
Come to Pappa!
Mikes coming early... Your all too late!!! :-)
18.
Good to hear that you've got something sorted. Your cab sounds fantastic and would suit me down to the ground, but a round trip from newcastle to collect it would add another fifty or sixty quid to the price in fuel, and a whole day's travel Ebay seems really sluggish at the moment - which is another reason I can't offer you what you want, as my two basses didn't even reach their reserve prices and I just don't have £650 hanging around at the mo... Another "deal of the century" slips through my fingers!!
No worries dude, and I totally understand the journey... Given the weather at the mo it makes that part even worse! I have had a few deal of the century's fall through recently as well... It must be the season for it! :-)
19.
shep YOU NEED TO KEEP IT, you will regret selling.
I can't mate. It's just too big for a man living on the 9th floor and I'm not touring or playing big gigs so this needs to go to a good home. I have a Barefaced T'Double Midget on the way which will be plenty loud enough for anything I see myself doing in the near future, and is far more realistic for where I live. Me and Mike have a deal worked out that suits us both if I don't get the asking price in the next few days. All good!
20. I know, I know... Still here crazy! Right, here is the score... The cab was listed in eBay until today and as it has not sold I will not be relisting it. I will take the full asking of £650 and not a penny less, no part ex, no trades. That's more than a fair price and one I'm not shifting on. If no one comes up with the £650 then this cab will be going to Mike_SuperThursday first thing in the new year in a deal which suits us both enough to make it work. Basically if you are considering this cab still, you have very little time to strike. Shep
21. Bump for a price drop for a quick sale before Christmas... £800 collected inc' softcase. Will post providing you arrange courier collection from me and you've been a member on here longer than a day :-)
22.
I didn't even ask a question but I got this confusing reply: You set the price very low no. If more than this I would consider. Which version are you using now. Excuse me?
23. On my Thumb 5 BO instead? :-)
24. Mines with me Tuesday says Mr Goodfellow :-)
