1. COG Knightfall SOLD pending payment.
2.
It makes me sad that I can't be the next owner
That makes me sad as well dude. I'd love it to go to a Basschatter and stay part of our little community.
3. Hope this is allowe (Mod's?).... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/237717-submix-mixing-mastering-services/ I've already done some work for some Basschatters too. Shep
4. I really dig this bass. I've played a couple of Sandberg's, 2 of which were fretless, and both of which sounded fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of their fretted tone, but they seem to get the fretless stuff spot on. Plus, this looks gorgeous!!!
5. As suggested above - Spend as much as you can and get the best (to your ears) your money will buy, then use them to death until you know every little nuance there is. Buy second hand if you can, so you can get more for your money, but if you have to buy new, the Presonus Eris range are (to my ear) the best of the budget bunch. I also quite like the old faithful Alesis M1. If you can pick up any old Events (TR5, TR8 etc) then they are killer. I've been an Event user for some time and swear by them (I'm now using 20/20 BAS V3), but we are dangerously close to changing the discussion to 'whats your favourite monitors', rather than important question of 'what is right for me?'. Also, like bass cabs, they all have their own flavour, and buying any without trying them out with music you know to see how they suit your ear is a big gamble.
6. Thats hard to say. Gain knob or not, it's a different filter with a different sound, which you also may not like. You could put both pedals in a loop using something like a Boss LS-2 and you can then lower the loop volume for when they are used together to match unity. I would alway advocate finding a way to use the pedals you have (you can try lowering the resonance on the filter as well) before adding addition pedals to the chain, but this could provide you with a decent solution.
7. It's likely to be the fuzz's high harmonics making the resonant peaks of the envelope jump out. It's fairly common for a high gain pedal to 'drive' later effects in the chain. I would suggest dropping the volume of the fuzz (I assume you have this before the envelope). This may however change the tone slightly of the pair run together as you will not be driving the envelope as hard.
8.
Stunning instrument. Definitely under-priced by the looks of things as well.
Possibly underpriced, however I have a good relationship with the Roscoe camp (being tagged a 'local-hero endorser') and as such got a very good price on the build. I feel that it's only fair to pass that along, rather than pricing it according to the list. It just makes it a bigger steal for who ever takes it!
pm'd
Replied!

17. 14kg dude, comfortable one hand carry. Easy peasy. Pick it up from Derby and take it for a whirl.
18.
So tempted by this dude!!! I've just bought a Genz Benz shuttle...... but I don't think one 112 will be quite enough though and I don't have any extra budget. Gem was not happy about the Genz Benz as it is! Guess I should have probably mentioned it to her before buying it! Hope you're well.
Hahaha. I'd have thought a 112 would have been more than loud enough for your band dude, your drummer isn't a hard hitter, and your live mix is pretty well refined. You're welcome to borrow it, not like I don't know where you are dude
19. BUMP. £10 off if you bring biscuits when you collect!
20. Moog MF-101 Low Pass Filter is SOLD.
21. If you can pack these up and confirm the weight and dimensions (and it's not much different from quoted above) then I'll take them. I have a quote for a courier collection based on the info above and I'm happy to book it. Shep
22. I didn't think one would be enough either (was planning on getting 2), but I was never unable to hear myself with just one (and always had PA support), so never bought a second. This cab was the most surprising little beast I've ever played with!
