I have a East U-Retro preamp. It is basically the 5-knob version, but with only 4 knobs (I don't know if it was regularly sold this way). The only difference being is that the volume and blend is a stacked pot. This was fitted, then removed, but in doing so, a couple of wires broke off from where they were soldered/attached and I honestly could never figure where they came from, as such, this would need looking at by a tech, or sending to East for repair. It was fully working when it was installed and sounded great. These cost upwards of £200, but given I broke it and unless you are great with electronics, will likely need to pay for a repair, I'll take a bargainous £55 posted. SOLD as seen. SOLD!!!!! I have a great condition pair of custom Roscoe-spec Bartolini Pups for a 5 string (Roscoe's typically come with these, or Bart CB's). These has a little emphasis on the low mid-growl and punch. Very beefy and musical. They came out of an old Roscoe when I was trying gout pups and never went back in before I sold it. I have the same pups in my current Roscoe now! One T (Treble) for the Bridge, and one B (Bass) for the neck position. These are not usually available to buy without a bass. Asking £90 posted. Lightweight (easy 1 hand carry). This is the cab I downsized to from my Barefaced Big Twin T, and oh my was it the right move. This cab is so articulate words do not describe it. My favourite sounding single woofer of all time. Great power handling, and immense low end for a 112. It's a HUGE, nasty gated fuzz with 2 voices. She made about 12 of them before the design was changed to a slightly tamer version (called the bass fuzz), which there are also only about a dozen of, then the design was sold to Mountain King FX and eventually became the Magnatar (again, with changes). This is an original. It has masses of very low bass (40hz-ish) and then cuts part of the frequency range above it, then whats left is fuzzed in a nasty gated ear ripping mess. It's 2 voices are decent, one goes from a old warm fuzz upto nasty, and the other goes from synthy up to 'what the hell is that'.

[/quote] In many cases, none. However, some pedals refuse to share a power supply, so if you put them on a daisy chain they whine and make noise. This would make the pedal think it was isolated on it's own supply/battery. Also, some fuzz pedals, particularly really old ones sound quite different powered by battery, and some sound fairly dreadful with a power supply.
