1.
why did your stache have to go back?! or did i miss something? andy
I think it took a knock during shipping... Something kept not quite engaging right. Like every 10th time I turned it on it was missing half the gain. Ry's going to check it over for me and send it straight back out. Wicked service. I'll have it back in no time. Thinking about a Broke Dick Peanut Gallery to replace my Fulltone Bass Drive now. Apparently they sound immense when you a Stache into them...
 2. Board etc is back at Roscoe HQ so we are looking at final gluing etc over the next week or so and then onto finishing etc etc...
 3.
I WANT OUR STACHES TO ARRIVE ALREADY!!!! #impatient Si
Doubt mine has even got back to the US yet! I have it's measurements though so I can make space if it doesn't come back before the big move. Are you having kiddy paint, stamped or blank? I assume you are not waiting for a painted one? As soon as the Xero and Frantabit land I'm on it like sonic!
 4.
Sexual!! :-D How long before updated board photos? lol Si
When my package from Iron Ether arrives I'll get straight onto it. Next week hopefully!
 5. This arrived today... One of the final prices of my 'streamlining the board' mission... GigRig QuarterMaster 6. The name in the top corner is a nice touch
 6. I would LOVE this... GAS!!!
 7. I think you're talking about midi specifically - as in using a midi pickup system to control synths an rack gear... Which is something I have very very little (almost no) experience in. I do however understand that sustain etc will effect midi based signals in the same way as other stuff. Si's point about a great bass = great triggering is a reason I use a top end bass with very very even tone (in mids as well as bass) as dead spots, feet rattle and imbalances tone between strings can drastically effect analog pedals response. Having the best I can has made a huge difference to that and I've had pretty much no triggering issues since. As for midi - there are better people to ask. ped might be a start. He uses a VB-99 system. Shep
 8. Hey dude, Recording went awesome. So so happy with what we have achieved. Massive step forwards for us. The Mooer stuff did not get used for this session. The Reverb is currently with Oli from Aulos. If he decides to send it back I'll pass it around! Hopin to get round to doing a full video demo of the pitch box in the next week or two.
 9.
If Shep was called Chris Wolstenholme I am sure he would get all his sh*t for free and more. Hey, if bloody Tommie Two Tits of the punk rock band "We cannot play to save our lives and only use one string between us "(no offence Shep) was selling enough records/shows I am sure Fender would bring out a 1 stringed Poo coloured signature P that would sit just right. Am I ranting?
Ranting - a little. But it was funny so we don't mind. And you've obviously seen me play!! (Though I haw recently progressed to using 2 strings!)
 10. Duplicate post in 'Other Musically Related Stuff' forum removed. No need to have it listed twice. Shep
 11. Because its CV enabled and that's takes up SPACE!
 12. I think you'll regret not being able to apply the modulation and delay lines to each other or the other loops. Do you need different compression on each channel?? Couldn't you jut put a compressor 1st and then the loops come after it. Personally I'd move the compressor to the end sonit levels and limits all channels the same and irons out any volume mis-matching between the loops. Gotta credit you for the craziness though!
 13. Got a pic of my custom Xero from Taylor today - Should be with me soon!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeet!
 14.
liked his approach to the set-up, and the Kaos pad looks like a fantastic device .. in the right hands (probably not mine )
Yeah - I've had a good play. They are very smart and offer lots of control. If I was playing synth or computer-based music then I think I'd have one without a doubt.
thanks shep, great as usual!
Thanks dude
 15.
cool. kind of a less comedic, guitar-playing Beardyman.. (who i think ?, used a GT6 ? .. can't remember)
So nothing like Beardyman then....?
 16. PLEASE BE AWARE - MY WEBSITE IS NOW CLOSED. THE INTERVIEWS CAN NOW BE FOUND HERE -> http://simonpoulton.....com/sheponbass If you don't know who THePETEBOX is yet then you will do soon! Pete is making SERIOUS noise on the live scene at the moment and running for a world record in YouTube video views. Having had the pleasure of seeing him do this stuff live a couple of times, all I can say is WOW!! Pete might not be a bass player (well he is kinda'...) but he makes some awesome music using an awesome live/studio set up. Enjoy! Shep
 17. They had these in a local guitar store here in Nottingham a couple of years back. Blue, Pink & Yellow I recall seeing them in. They were about £99 if I recall. The ones that the store had in felt like they had been set up by blind monkey's! lol
 18.
Here you go. http://www.sheponbass.co.uk/ Click on "Blog" & browse away.
Thanks dude... I've not covered everything yet, but most stuff with sound samples and explanations are covered... 19. I'll be hurling Moogerfoogers so I don't fancy your chances!
 20.
I think though, without taking anything away from Shep at all, that someone like Juan simply has a wider exposure due to his position in Mars Volta & Racer X. Those record sales are going to speak for themselves when a manufacturer is looking at artists to help their exposure. Having said that, Juan has a huge collection of pedals, I believe the point of the site is so he can slowly go through those, as opposed to having manufacturers send him free/new stuff. Si
Absolutely! Though I had never heard his name until you mentioned him a few weeks ago (I know Mars Volta well - just not his name). Different circles and all that. Totally true though - He is (in the right circles) fairly famous and thats half the battle. His website looks smart too and he clearly knows a lot about what he's saying which separates him from most of the crowd. I think the site is great.
 21.
For example, Shep, one of our mods is probably an equivalent to Juan. I don't see effects pedal manufacturers this side of the pond flocking to him so he can review their products.
Kiwi - Seriously dude... compliment of the year!! TC Electronic have been uber cool and supported/promoted my site (thanks Jes!) which has been amazing, other than that... I agree though, The US seem to have the promotion/marketing/exposure thing nailed.
 22. Bad ain't it... Lol. Sounds banging though! This track is a killer... And my tap dancing skills are second to none for this one! Shep
i can't help but laugh that they wont all fit on a huge board! its a very nice board however! andy
23. Moved. As per forum rules and asking price needs to be stated though so ask him what price he wants on it if you could and update ASAP. Shep
 24. It doesn't reproduce anything over 1500Hz... It's kinda like wider range PA Sub speakers with Alex's mathematical genius to drive it.
 25. Highly unlikely there's any date done. Take a break from it. Play again tomorrow. I'm sure you'll find all is well. Ironically my Streamliner 900 stopped lighting up blue today (LED's are blown)... So a bad day for Streamliners.
