2.
They're both nice looking! Like the Z3 lots!! Stupid question time, what's with the holes in the smaller back plate?
The back plates are magnetic - the holes are so you can pull it off!
3. Depends on how much he has on. The Thumpinator is a retailed item on his site though, as opposed to a custom build so Max may have some stock of them? He's the best person to ask! Drop em' an email or PM.
4.
Oh and a quick question for if anyone knows, will the SFX Micro Thumpinator fit in the small gap thats left before i click the buy button?
Yes it will.
5. Click on your same at the top of the screen, click settings, then along the side menu go to 'Manage Attachments' - This will show you all the stuff you have uploaded to the site and how much of your allowance is left. There is a limit on each single item as well so if you are trying to post a large video or massive high res pic it could be stopping you upload that particular item. As mentioned above though the easiest thing to do would be to upload the pics to photobucket, then paste the link like this... Or youtube for video etc as mentioned above. There are no limits to how much stuff you can post then Any other probs, let us know. Shep
6. For me... TU2 > OC3 > CryBaby > ODB3 > SYB3 > Flanger > CEB3 As mentioned though - try everything!!!
7. OK, A few recent finished instruments from the Roscoe Camp... 8. Yum yum yum yum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZmeCnf_VyA&sns=em
9. Newcastle is a bit of a trek! Have fun. Well - should be interesting then. I may do a bit of investigation in advance... I don't think the 2nd room/stage will be used that night, this may make a difference to the way things work. Fingers crossed! Heres the poster anyway! 10. Hey bud, We've played a few event there and I've always used a class D amp and a a large number of effects etc. I've only done one gig there since the 2nd stage opened though (I think it was the night, or at least the week, that they opened the 2nd room). As the night is an electronica themed night you can expect an awful lot of digital gear. I now use a huge effects rig, a crown digital power amp etc. The Broken door use lots of digital midi based stuff and a number of synths... and the other bands use similar. As such - it should be interesting. This is the 1st I've heard of this though to be fair and a large number of friends and local bands play there quite regularly, so I am surprised this hasn't cropped up before.
11. User - that the one. The user preset is totally adjustable so you can set up the sound you like on each of the 9 presets. Changing the dial from the 'user' preset applies the default 'flavour' I that position to the effect you have set up. So it does not become a totally different effect, just adjusts a few parameters around the sound you have set up. That's how I remember it anyway
12. Cheers Si! I forgot to list it here. Fellow basschatter Dan Owens is also playing with his band, The Broken Door. Going to be sweeeeeeet!
13. You can edit the oscillators on the 'Custom' option in each patch. Each patch has some preset oscillator tunings... 8 I think? It's been a while?? The last position of the knob is custom for you to tune your own. To save, when you are happy with your effect, click and hold the position number at the bottom of the screen. Hold it until it blinks and it's saved.
14. Shall I move this to Off Topic? ;-) lol
15. What I could do with that on a stand, with my MP-201 under foot. Ooooooh.
16. I kinda wish I had the funds to be fair... It would be great for the rare time I don't need my 1400w rig of doom. Unfortunately, since going part time to do more music, spare cash has become a thing of the past! Bump for a fellow Roscoe user and an AWESOME bit of kit.
17. Got the email about it earlier. Yum!!! Looking forward to seeing and hearing more of it!
18. Hugh, welcome to Basschat! Corvid is perfect now. It just needed moving in the signal chain as the noise floor levels of pedals were causing a few mishaps. Loving it!
19. They are unique and not the easiest to get the feel for, but have a great tone (especially if you restring it with Pahoehoe Uke-Bass strings). The MK2 sounds somewhere between a Fretless and an EUB. I'm unsure if the MK1's had different pickups or tone controls compared to the MK2's though...?
20. This is a MK1 and are VERY rare. In fact this is only the 2nd one I've ever seen for sale. I would still think this was expensive, that said its worth what ever a collector will pay.
21. Any pics? What are the selectable frequencies? What are you interested in with regards to trades? Shep
22. I had one of these. Fantastic amp. Miss mine. Perfect go-to grab and run head.
23. Mark, yes - its a single board with what the builder refers to as a 'bridge'. The bridge (or, raised platform) is secured in place with some small retaining bolts that just slide into the bottom of it. Most of the pedals that I don't tweak live are either under the bridge, or sat in 'hard to press' places and connected to the 8-way Bypass Looper, which I used to turn them on and off. If you look at the last set of pics I posted you'll see a small bracket next to the Mastotron and one above it near the back of the board, they are what the 'foot' of the bridge line up against/clamp too on that side. You'll see that same on the other side next to the power supply. There is a middle support as well but that does not clamp down. It runs the same length as the other two, starting just above the PN-2 and runs up between the Bass Drive & the Evenflo adapter above the PN-2. If you look at the cabling there you'll see that most of it is in a 'loom' which curves around to be against the side of the Bass Drive, yet 1 cable is loose and runs straight up, this is because they fall either side of the 'foot'.
24. As per forum rules you must state an asking price or have the sale removed. Cheers Shep
