    Monster of an amp, got this years ago and has been gigged a bit but spent most of it's life in a rackmount case so aside from the odd scuff here. Recently had it serviced so it's had a good clean out etc and all in great working condion. Absolutely the last price reduction before I just keep it in storage until the day I have a need for it! Can include the 4u Gator case too for free. The Aphex 204 pictured in the rack is not included.     Absolute beast of a cab, especially if coupled with on of the bi-amped GK heads. All in great condition with the exception of the wheels which need replacing although I believe are pretty easy to find, just never got around to using it. Definitely the last price reduction before I just keep it in storage until the day I have a need for it! Selling because I just dont use it enough or have the space to store it, the child is consuming more space daily. Ideally looking for £275 but open to offers. Collection only as it pretty chunky.     When I started I was really into Primus, Tool and Mr Bungle and all that sort of stuff so lots of rock and metal with lots of slap bass and stuff like that. Now though most of the stuff I've been doing is far more folky/bluesy rock stuff. Still love playing some soul, funk and rocky stuff. Pretty open minded though to anything when it comes to bass, even if it's not strictly something I'd listen to.

    Sorry to necro a thread but thought I'd jump on this one rather than start another! I've always struggled with music theory as a whole, I can learn arpeggios, scales, modes and chords etc but there's something about the application of them that's just never sunk in beyond the basics. I always feel like I'm just missing that little thing that ties it all back together and unlocks it. Had a good 5 years of not playing much at all and just jumped back in and decided to give it yet another go. I think it'd help having some musicians that had a good theory background to play with but that's a work in progress. Any good recommendations for books/videos would be great! Also did anyone find it helpful to learn on another instrument to avoid relying too heavily on learning shapes?

    I built this about 18 years ago when I was about 16 (fortunate my dad is a luthier 😃) which is like a melted warwick thumb 🤣. It's remarkably inconvinient, if I did make another bass it would be a very different shape but this thing sounds amazing.

    Hey, Got given this Audiophile HD-500 amp a while back, I've not seen much talk about these but it's a pretty great sounding head. Unfortunately after a few minutes of playing the volume cuts completely, the only thing that brings it back to life (temporarily) is playing a loud note by strumming aggressively. Tried both channels and just about every combination of settings I could think of but doesn't seem to have any impact. I've tried it with 3 different tubes and had a friend investigate it but had no luck fixing it, just wondering if anyone has any ideas? The person who gave it to me passed away a few years a go so would be really nice to get it back in working condition if possible. Cheers!
