  1. Been hearing good reviews with the Chromes too so I might consider it. The Labella ones, I've read they sound too muddy on the low B which is why I'm constantly reading reviews and watching demos. Planning to install them on my BB435 which I recently acquired.
  2. What flats are you guys using on your 5 string BB? I’ve only tried a La Bella 760fs on a 4 string Pbass but have no idea what’s it gonna be like with a 5er. Any experiences with it or feel free to reco other string options. Ideally I want the feel and thumpy sound of flats so no rounds for me.
  3. I use a PB-2 Pedal riser and tall dual lock which gives a nice allowance for routing cables underneath.
  4. After some gear culling, this is what I’m currently using at the moment.
  5. There will be some slight overhang if using a standard sized pedals. But yes you can if your pedals have top jack and you use a tall dual lock to route cables underneath. Also depends on the size of the 3 pedals you are going to use. Here’s my current setup after some gear culling. All mounted on a pb2 and powered by onespot.
  6. NBD! This thing just arrived today. Right out of the box, it feels and sounds amazing. Only thing I need to do is set it up according to my taste. Action is too low and there are couple of fret edges but not too sharp that hinders your playing. Also, it came shielded. No hum noise from the J! Never had or liked a black bass ever but this one became an exception. I plan to change the hardware to gold in the future for aesthetic purpose. The stock pickups really sounds amazing so I'm keeping that! Overall, happy with the bass! Quickie soundclips here. Direct to my audio interface, no pedals or other effects: Forget Me Knots Yammie Doodling
  7. Thanks! I'll check it out! tbh if it has a nice padding, that's more than enough for me. Although I've had a mono before, I find them too expensive after selling most if my gear and coming back again. I'm just being practical right now where I can get a nice padded gig bag where I wont have to spend 200 quid. Any other brands for me to check, send them over here. cheers!
  8. BB Owners, what gig bags are you using? I have this BB435 from PMT coming in next week, and I'm looking for a nice gig bag. Just looking for ideas what everyone uses. No hard case please!
  9. About to buy a BB435 but can’t decide between the Teal Blue or Black! Planning to make it a project workhorse bass. Change to gold hardwares
  10. What’s the weight of this bass please?
  11. To the owners of the BB435, how much does your bass weigh? Just looking for an idea. On the fence of getting one. My last heavy bass that I did not like was the Lakland 55-02. 5kgs is too much for me for pub gigs.
  12. Reluctant sale but due to an emergency, we are moving house so looking for a quick sale on this beautiful American Vintage II Precision Bass. Fitted with LaBella 760FS. Great action and setup by the folks in the Gallery. Changed pickup covers to cream white, still using the same Pure vintage pickups. Installed Dunlop Straplok. I’ll throw in a levys leather strap with the mount attached. Also installed the ashtray bridge cover and drilled holes for the neck pickup cover. Neck pickup covers, original black pickup covers and thumb rest will be included. Weight is 3.9kg with the ashtray cover. Pics here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-5MxIxZi1cj0uVv32OJ0iTrgmAog_ZFj Bought brand new from the Gallery for £1899 Only thing I don’t have is the hard case as I sold it to a fellow basschatter here thinking I’d never part with this. But needs must so I have to let go of most my bass gear. I can get one again when all is sorted. For pickup only at SW19 area. Open to sensible cash offers just to move this on. Any questions, feel free to message me.
  13. Haha most important thing is it’s pretty!
  14. Lovely! Got mine the other day. It’s a greaaat sounding preamp!
