  1. Rinsing on this amazing song by Elevation Worship called New Thing Coming. Just having fun with bassline ideas as we will be playing it this Sunday. My best bud Joseph Kristoffer on the guitars mixed it nicely too! Met him in Every Nation London few years ago and he's one of the finest guitarist I've known and had the honour to play with. He teaches me alot about recording/mixing, theories, encourages me on being better in my instrument, as a musician and as a Christian. Lastly we GAS together lol We serve together in church and we do occassional jams like this when we are both on the same rota Love how It echoes the scripture of Isaiah 43:19, where God declares, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." This song, like the verse, speaks of a divine shift, a spiritual awakening, and the promise of a new beginning.
  2. Jim bought my Omnicomp. Nice guy and easy to communicate with. Showed great interest in my listed item and made quick payment with no further questions. Fantastic lad, highly recommend! Thanks, Chad
  3. Would love to keep these fantastic pedals but due to an urgent bill I need to cover, I have to let them go. No trades please as I need cash. Price is negotiable so just message me. 3LEAF OCTABVRE MINI - 2019 // MAGENTA OVER MIDNIGHT BLUE // LIMITED EDITION OF 90 - £320 SOLD ̶𝙱̶𝚁̶𝙾̶𝚄̶𝙶̶𝙷̶𝚃̶𝙾̶𝙽̶ ̶𝙾̶𝙼̶𝙽̶𝙸̶𝙲̶𝙾̶𝙼̶𝙿̶ ̶-̶ ̶£̶𝟷̶𝟽̶𝟶̶ SOLD! 4. Would still want an OE! The Celebrity pedals one looks tacky and bulky. Although it sounds good. Could have placed the tube like Markbass or Revolt. If the intent was to imitate the placement of the tubes like the Fliptop but in a pedal format then it’s understandable.
  5. 1st one is the Octabvre Mini and 2nd One is the Okto Nojs. They both have unique rawness and girth. When in music context they both gel really well. Playing around with the Okto Nojs for now. The 3leaf will be in the shelf in the meantime
  6. Trying the Emma Okto Nojs. 3leaf Trifecta on the sideline for now. Here's my almost all blue gear for this iteration. Love the synth fuzz and I can say it comes real close to my Doom2. The Octabvre Mini has more thud and rawness. 3Leaf is more refined IMO but really liking this. And for a 145gbp octave+fuzz this is really good and an amazing discovery for me! It can cover alot of synth sound that I usually do. Can also go chaotic fuzz. Quickie demo and comparison with the Octabvre mini. And some Snarky Puppy jam at the end Okto Nojs.wav
  7. We played Lion and the Lamb too! Nice setup!
  8. I’m on the fence getting that Subsonic just to add to my growing Broughton collection. If only we aren’t moving houses by April otherwise I’ll buy that by May
  9. Npd! Thanks to MrDinsdale for the reco!
  10. Do share your 55-94. I’m missing mine dearly. This year looking to add a 5 string in my rotation. I’m mostly using a Pbass now but I realized how much I need a 5 string especially on function/pub gigs
  11. State of my main board. Found a £20 nano+ in fb marketplace and rewired my board for the nth time
  12. That looks ace!!
  13. Beautiful board Brough!
  14. Had a spare Pedaltrain PB-3 riser and put together this basic board for tomorrow. Love the Fliptop so much it’s my core tone and always on. The Studio One refines it further and just makes it smooth and silky as how I would describe it. Only thing is that it takes time to tweak and find the sweet spot and settings of this thing
  15. Not much demos on youtube but this one definitely adds to one of my fave preamps. I’ve only fiddled with it for a day but dang! It seems like it puts a smooth polished finish on the end of my chain. No matter what I do to the signal prior (fliptop and comp settings) once it hits the Studio One it cleans it up, smooths it out and makes it sound like a better warmer version of itself if that makes sense. I've never been able to get clean low-end like this, I tend to push the low-end a bit but still has nice definition and heft. There’s some kind of Broughton Magic on the red gain knob. You can’t overdrive it unless there’s a boost or drive pedal in front but it adds a rich warmth to your tone. I feel like I can push this further with much clearer, usable results. Studio quality indeed, Love this thing! Here’s how it sounds when I got this few days ago I immediately tested it. Fliptop into Studio One. No mixing on the DAW in my bass track. It’s my settigs on my pedals only.
  16. This thing is so easy to dial. Very transparent. I can say this is definitely my fave among the Cali and Empress I’ve had. It’s like you’ll never know it’s on till you turn it off. This is my current fave setting.
  17. 1 Brough became 2 Brough and now 3 Brough. NPD! Just got the Studio One few days ago.
  18. Good luck with our sale mate!
  19. 3leaf Trifecta complete! Doom2 in Aurora Pink just arrived. My synth dream is satisfied.
  20. Just got this last month brand new from PMT and while I loved it, I bought it on a whim thinking I could never get a hold of a Fliptop which is my intended GAS. I got it and mostly use it in B15 settings anyway. Alas, I managed to score a Fliptop and a Studio One is coming my way so this is now an extra pedal. Price is negotiable so just message me. Complete with all case candies: manual, USB C and PSU. Price includes postage. Any question, feel free to message me.
  21. I'm happy to know this! I've had an Empress bass comp and both the Cali compact bass mki and latest Cali76 Excited to see how this sounds/feels like!
  22. Sharing my cute little project board. Can’t wait to finish work and test this! *UPDATE: Initial impressions. The comp is really good! It’s like Empress and a Diamond comp’s offspring minus the metering. I’m happy with the seperate attack and release knobs so I won’t miss my Cali76. I’m liking the Fliptop more than the B15 voice in my SGT! The more I add in cab emulation, the low end gets more tighter and cuts the high frequencies for a warm, vintage sound unlike the SGT, a tad muffled and not as clear as the Fliptop. Also, edge of breakup sounds natural and rich just the way I like it which is important for me. Can’t believe I only found out about Broughton’s stuff now. Amazing stuff! Now I’m GASsing on a Studio One to place it at the end of my chain. That or a messenger Jr.
  23. Latest haul this 2025 My friend from talkbass offered the Proton and Omnicomp for a straight trade for my Neptunium, an offer I couldn’t refuse. Now my Fliptop is partnered with a Brough comp for my micro board project. And I’ve completed the 3leaf trifecta. No issues with shipping as my colleague from work was in the US and was few minutes away so he kindly offered to bring it here. Just waiting for the latest Doom2 that I’ve ordered in the last drop. Hoping 2025 will be a great year for our GAS desires!
  24. Is this the latest ghostfire pedalboard? I usually see them in Temu or Ali Express. Looks like a nice build with clearance underneath for psu. Lovely board!
  25. Quick question, is it to ok to use a line isolator for a passive bass? Looking for a nice DI or LI to pair with my Fliptop. Building a microboard that’s just 2 pedals with a pedal booster. Looking for recommendations before buying. I’m keen to try a pinstripe miso or a canvas mono to pair with my Broughton.
