1. Yeah, to be honest it looks all good to me. Just ask for picks without the covers to check there isnt a dodgy bridge or pickups!
2. Looks good to me, squeaky clean. Although, not sure I can see an 'F' on the neckplate? or is it just my poor eyesight?
3. About 5 years old, big beefy sound. In good condition give or take a few nicks on the casing. The wire has come off on three points but easily re soldered for those with better skills than myself. Comes with box, mounting screws, rubber mounts and diagram. £55 - paypal preferred Pics from phone so excuse poor quality!
4. Sounds great, cheers for the clip
5. Also has a Corona neckplate, tuners look ok though
6. Great stuff!
7. Hooky's a legend, simple as.
8. My 78 has it underneath 'Precision' too but as Gareth says, it is common to be missed. One of those old Fender quirks.
9. Wow, that looks amazing. Look forward to the soundclips!
10. There's always a craze for something new, as there was for Markbass. Still loving my LMII after many years!
11. Pure class
12. Welcome aboard
13. +1 Wizard. Email Andy and tell him what sound you're after. They are superb pickups.
14.
That would be the old one back (thanks Clarky) - well spotted
Thought as much. I seem to have an unhealthy obsession with this bass
15.
I couldn't resist a little shot of my basses (as it stands now). Technically it's a futon not a settee, but I'm hoping nobody will mind L-R: CS Pino, Sadowsky NYC and Road Worn Jazz. I hate having 3 basses but they are all so nice I find it impossible to choose. The Pino and the Road Worn give me all that I need, but the Sadowsky is a total luxury that I'd be terrified to sell only to regret it forever.
Lovely collection. Is that a new Pino or your old one back?
16. Got S-D Quarter Pounders in mine. Meaty as you like with that bridge pup rolled off.
17. Yep, just use the neck pup, maybe a smidge of the bridge. I get a very chunky, fat P sound with that setup.

Best 2x12
No love for the Schroeder 1212L? 'tis a lovely little beasty.
Plenty of love for mine!
19. On my mid 70's P the D/G cover was a bit of a tight squeeze on my Trad so I put the original cover over it which worked
20. Lovely stuff. I must try one of these cabs.
21. I have two Precisions that fall into this timeframe. Both weigh just over 8 pounds so in the lightweight category and both sound and play absolutely great. I love the look of them (logo etc) and have absolutely no desire to get anything older. The B width necks suit my hands over the older wider C shape. To discount them on year alone is nonsense, there are plenty of great ones out there.
22.
As a confirmed bass shape 'traditionalist' I have to say that is strangely alluring! Good luck with the sale and have a bump to the top on me
My thoughts exactly
