Ive had a refret done at the Gallery in Camden, top quality work at a reasonable price. Im sure someone else will be able to tell you the exact name of the procedure you'll need. I'd take it along and get the pro to advise.

I have a Trad in my 75 Precision. I can't really see me wanting anything else as it gives me the classic tones with rounds and flats. The bass is quite light and open sounding so the pups seem to compliment the bass as a whole. I emailed Andy asking his opinion and he advised on the Trad to get the classic P bass tone. Good output as well.

Also scratchplate should be black for this year. As said, anything around or under a grand should be about right.

Its definitley a refin, there should be two holes next to the bridge for the bridge cover. Either that or its not an original body. One or t'other

Mine came with white back in 87, I got simms to make me a black one so I swap them every now and then, a cheap gas fix!
