1. Now that is a proper rig
2. Lovely setup!
3. Having Motorhead's drummer saying I was nicking Lemmys 'sound' in a Kerrang review
4. Great stuff! Well done
5. Awesome!
6. I've owned a couple of these and they are delightful. If I didn't already have two Precisions, I would have been in like a rat up a drain pipe.
7. Ive just installed a CAR Warmoth body on my old Pbass. B/w/b scratchplate looks awesome! Will try to sort some pics out
8. I had the same dilemma with my 75. In the end took it to Martin, even got non standard vintage frets installed as i prefer them. Never looked back.
9. Best bass I've owned is my 87 Korean Jazz. Its been through hell and back over twenty odd years. Surviving two UK tours without even a gig bag. Not to be sniffed at!
10.
I'm really settled on my LMII/Schroeder rig and have been for what seems like years. In fact outside of my desire for an upright I'm pretty much GAS free. I hate that feeling!
Ditto. LMII/Schroeder completely rules. All I want now is one of those little Ampeg 210 to use at home.
11. I really hope to make this one
12. Be strong brother, it will pass. I've had massive GAS for a new rig recently but realized that my current rig is absolutely great. For now GAS has passed.
13. PM'd
14. Wizard 64's - top notch
15. Yep, looks like a 74/76. Have a look at the stamp date under the pickups. A grand would be about right I would say. Nice bass!
16. Have a word with Andy at Wizard. All I can say is for what I wanted for both my basses (P+J) has been delivered at minimal expense and arseing about.
17. Got some 64s in my 80's Squier and they are just the ticket. Just like installing a Trad in my Precison, GAS over.
18. Wow, that is lovely. Great price too.
19.
I tend to record all our gigs so if i manage ot get through a song with no mistakes ill post something. Mustang Sally will never have sounded so good lol.
Never looked so forward to hearing Mustang Sally!
20. I'll be very interested to see the results with your 1212L.
21. Lovely. I'd change the pick guard and keep that one safe. That way you can pull the jack out without flinching every time. Fretboard looks gorgeous.
22. You're not alone brother. We all suffer the same cruel affliction
23. Marco bought some pickups off me. We thrashed out a deal in record time and payment was made immediately. Great guy to do business with.
24. Another two thumbs up for Terry here. Did some work on my Jazz and did a fine job. Wish I'd known about him sooner.
