It doesn't take a lot of keyboard technique to be able to play most synth bass lines with more accuracy and reliability on a keyboard synth than you can using a bass guitar and pedals.

Most of the bassists I see doing this sort of stuff have some serious bass guitar chops and a massive pedal board to hold all the effects they require, but I know I can do a much better job, in terms of accuracy of playing, and consistency of sound, with something like a Nord Lead and my decidedly 3rd rate keyboard technique.

Fairly accurate. My boards have been cray. Proper downsized now (cough check the for sale section).

You'll get a decent representation from the aforementioned future or deep impacts, but you do need to have super clean playing. Even your right hand catching the string above (D> A for example) can cause it to trigger the wrong note.

Interested.  What’s your price and are you willing to ship?

Yo - Sorry for the delay - Was abroad with work.

Ideally, I'd like near £400 as possible. But willing to discuss. Yeah happy enough to ship.

  3. It is with a very (!!!) heavy heart, that I look at selling my custom fuzz from Tom @ Cog Effects. Sadly i've started using a headrush and the fuzz sits in a box.
As with all Cog units, It sounds absolutely amazing. It's a super fuzz/distortion. It's a Grand Tarkin and TK-421-X with the ability to run individually, or together. It also has a second insert jack (i intended to run my octave into it). You can also blend the two channels together.

It was used exclusively for my fuzz and distortion tones for ages and I will severely miss it, but it's too cool to waste in a box.

It's custom etched with the metal gear solid cyborg ninja. It's a massive super fuzz and we felt it could destroy people hah :D

  5. SOLD
Looking to shift my Animato. Sounds lovely, still have the box.

It just takes a bit too much space for me atm, and i'm not doing enough musically to have it just chilling on my board.

    looking about £350 - i'm in Aberdeen.

  6. Great pedal this for recreating some proper 80s synth. Think I still have the box and original PSU. It does have a minor issue with the LED, I think it needs resoldered (you can tap the led and it lights up - so looks like a contact issue). As in on/off LED, not actual screen. I can send a video to show what I mean :)
(Not sure why i've given info here, everyone knows what it does :D)

Note - that mark on the 1 is a hair. Not a scratch. Bloody GSDs!
