1.
*Runs in* Glad I play a Fender *Runs out*
GED 'IM!
 2.
I really have to admire anyone getting a custom made bass, but on reading this thread I dont think I,ll bother!
It's not all negative! I have a custom instrument and it's exactly the image i had in my head of what I wanted. Sounds and looks! I have one thing that annoys me, and it's simply because the Delano pickups I (not the builder I should add) have the Delano logo in white on one and black on the other. Nothing a sharpie can't fix or hunting down the correct pup. If you want one, and have an idea thats not easy to come by. Why not get something bespoke to you?
 3. I know you said either 1x12 or 2x12 but have you looked at the S12? I bought one (needing something loud and good sounding so pulled the trigger) and its great. Light as hell (one hand lift!) and louder than hell.
 4. Also - if the guys worth his salt, he'll go back and do some work on the instrument if required. Action etc! Hope it all comes right!
 5. Sorry to read this bud - but it might be worth the wait. I know my custom instrument was! Maybe worth it in the end!
 6.
Any more thought been put into this? Would be up for it and for helping out!
Ditto. Downstairs on holburn st could be worth a look in. Be great to showcase the Purple Beastie(c)
 7. Hey man, I've got the m80 - its great at protection and storage isn't too bad. If you're ever up in Aberdeen, welcome to take a look
 8.
HOT DAMN!
Cheers folks!

 11.
Haha! The Yammie sees more of me than the 6 string. The sixer just covers the heavier stuff, and anything that needs sweeps Hoping to whip up a 4 string super P design with Rich after I saw yours drying! But speaking of ERBs I was interested in planning an 8 string... F# to F if you were wondering ha!
Jesus chris man! Got some pics... will upload now...
 12.
Can't wait for all the pictures
I'll get them up. Its amazing! Actually insanely light! You'll need to try it man dont you need a 6 string?
 13.
That said, I tried an old Zoom 708 the other month for the first time in years, hilarious, it was so horrible that it was cool! Si
Ah the memories - my first fx unit Miss the drum machine and chorus (if I recall?) most.
 14.
Not used one of those, but I've been using the polytune mini for over a year now with bass and no issues. Apparently the polytune mode doesn't work with bass, but the single string mode is absolutely fine
+1 Never really understood the polytune mode on bass. Great little units.
 15.
Just received an email from Taylor apologising and saying he'd send it today. Hurray. Looks like I won't be needing to take you up on your offer Woody, but thanks so much for the offer. Another example of BC community at it's best!
Mines should be shipped this week or next. Huzzah!
 16.
Very kind of you! Thanks. In today's chaser, I've let Taylor know that that I need it for a certain date, so we'll see what his response is. Hopefully I won't need to take you up on the offer, but thanks for the backup plan! :-)
No worries It is just the Standard one, not deluxe though. Just me know if you need it.
 17.
I've never dealt with him before, so it's good to know that historically he's reliable. It's just that the initial order confirmation said 3-4 weeks, and I need it for a recording session booked in at the start of October. Fingers crossed!
Also if it doesn't look like it will arrive on time - I can loan you my Xero.
 18.
I've never dealt with him before, so it's good to know that historically he's reliable.
Yeah man - i've previously ordered the oxide with one order, and the Xerograph with another. Just painful since I'm waiting on my polytope, frantabit and nimbus to complete my board!
 19. Bought Alex's Fredericks Muff Clone. He got really ill and was unable to ship on the date arranged but kept me up to date the whole time. So no worries! Well packed and all round good guy! Buy with confidence.
 20. Tbh I'm probs just worrying over nothing, never been let down before by Taylor!
 21.
Well, it's been seven weeks, and still no sign of my Xerograph. I chased up a couple of weeks ago, to be told 'soon' and nothing since. I've chased again today - anyone know of any issues with Iron Ether at the moment?
I'd like to know this too. Been waiting on my IE order for about 6 weeks now... Might go email Taylor.
 22. From all this feedback, you would think the OP waited about 10 days to ship! I don't think the OP has done anything wrong - he got the payment late on a wednesday and was shipped on Friday. If I bought something then I would always imagine the item will arrive after the weekend. FWIW - I bought something here in Aug and I still have yet to receive it. I had to contact the seller to make sure all was well to then find out what the issue was. Which I should also add, was/is no fault of the seller I can't believe this has gone on so long?!
