1.
Try not doing that then? If you set each pedal by themselves to unity gain then you should be able to combine them in series without a volume boost. But if each one is set to be say 10% louder when turned on, then turning them both on raises the volume 20% (well not precisely, but it's just an example!).
Okay - to ask the question; How do you get unity gain? Is this a case of clean tone being same as distorted tone?
2. Bugger, thats how they already are. Ah well!
3. Hey guys, I've started going down the dangerous road of fx again, i've got my distortions/fuzz sorted now but have noticed a little issue. Is there anyway of getting a sound to be the same volume with each different pedal? For example, i tend to run B7k + Oxide together for a clanky fuzz tone, then hit the oxide off for some other points. There seems to be a drop in volume, but if I increase the volume of the B7k - it throws off the volume with the fuzz. Would a compressor resolve this? Any suggestions on compressors to look for (pedal only - no longer using a rack!) PS - sorry if this has been done before - I searched but couldn't see anything to answer my question. Ta Dave
4. Hey guys, It just appears to have been issue after issue after issue - after the paint there was several uncertain months if the paint was taking etc. I believe Rich was working on the pickguard now, or was - before buggering his neck. Pretty frustrating to say the least. Rich might be able to confirm what the current status is.
5. Someone above posted that even £5 per advert would be more appealing. I'd be tempted to agree. It's the age old 9.99 being cheaper than £10. It looks better.. I'd probs go a fiver.
6. So did we find out what the 2 millionth post actually was?
7. I thought doood was at 11 million on his own?
8.
All this over having to pay a measly TWENTY QUID to advertise as much as you like for a whole year. Unbelievable. I bet half the complainers spend twice as much as that on beer of a weekend.
I think the issue is more a case of the cost is too high for what you're getting... As been said before, you're pretty much paying for CHANCE to sell your item. Now of course you have 26,000 members to hit, so your chances do increase of selling (compared with with facebook pages which are more location based). I'd happily pay a fee if I were still selling tons of equipment - but right now, I have 1 effect and controller - so not really worth while! IMO
9.
The point was valid. It didn't look like an insult IMHO. You are being sensitive.....again an opinion not an insult. (no smiley) The fact is some members are now pushing gear through alternative routes to BC because of the fees. If this does not concern you then fair enough.
+1 Think there was some good points raised.
10. The £20 is too much for me to justfy with the little items i'm selling now. And the one off fee is pretty high too IMO. I've found groups on facebook to be useful for the few items i've sold (grey stache etc) Which is a shame. just doesn't seem the same around here now - everyones either mega-clicky or seem more moody. Think that's why I'm spending much less time on BC.
11.
Have you got your tracking number yet? i had great fun following my Midgets across the country, especially when it said that they had been loaded onto the delivery van and were out for delivery! Matt
Surely the midgets weren't too happy about being loaded into the back of a van?!
12. Cheers - will try with IE at work. I only want it so I get a picture back
13. Just keep getting a message saying the website is displaying too many redirects? That was using Chrome and Safari on Macbook with Lion and Iphone 4s with latest IOS. Any idea what this might be? Thanks.
14.
I think we should send one to John Hall
Only if it contains a R*ckenfaker somewhere on it
15. How about an awesome* joke? I think john lennon would use ebay if he were still alive. Imagine all the paypal. *joke may be god awful. No?
16.
let's see if attempt 2 works http://basschat.co.u...-s-type-6-mint/
I can see that

20. Howdy - I assume this sold in the end?
21. I think Shep has a custom board (or 17 ) - not sure if he got his from the states or the UK though. Fire him a PM - Pantherairsoft on here.
22.
I can't remember having this much GAS over something i have never played with nor even heard samples of. I really hope he has got this right.
Yep! I'm seriously tempted to order one.
23. Quite interested too. Wonder when soundclips will be available.
24.
I had a horrible experience there. The shop is run by someone with the manner of an uptight prefect. He refused to let me try out basses because 'they were too expensive' said I was 'wasting my time' because I wanted to try out an amp but hadn't brought my bass. When I mentioned I was still using an old H/H amp he looked down his nose at me and obviously didn't consider me a proper customer. I was en route from Wales to London and diverted to pay a visit. Never again.
That was Bass Direct? Granted I've never been to the actual shop but online/telephone Mark has been an absolute gent! Strange.
25. I'm an arse with my gear now. Burned too often! I've spent too much cash on gear to have some pleb ruin it. Also it's utter annoyance when I had my valve head and 610 cab. "Yeah guys - you can use it, just be careful and give me a hand loading it out at the end of the night" Then at the end of the gig, them buggering off.
