1. Hey guys, I bought this unit from Shep a few weeks ago, and as great of a unit as it is, my band completely fizzled out so now it's sitting in my flat not being used. It can do sooooo much and if you have the time to play with it and setup patches/scenes etc it's amazing. I've only used a few times (with headphones and once with an amp), and it was so much fun. I do wish that I could justify keeping it, but it does so much and it's kinda wasted on me (Little distortion and i'm a happy bunny now!). Also included is a line 6 expression pedal http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1865029 is the link to the original thread. Cheers EDIT:- Prices now are M13 - £235 Exp Pedal - £30
2. It's 25Kg? for a 6x10?! *faints*
3. Bought Tom's SYB for some faffing. Super fast postage (even with snow!) and a great guy. Buy with confidence!
4. ARG! Ive been looking for a few days for a BEF Pro and HH3! I JUST bought from Bass Direct about 20 mins ago! Bah! Curse me for being impatient!
5. I'll admit - I've been lazy and haven't read this whole thread! But... I've just had my first proper nosy at the classifieds section. I quite like it, adding a "bump" button would be pretty cool. My main (and currently only!) issue is that I tend to just hit "New Posts" and read the results (and before anyone says - I know I can select Classifieds in the search criteria) - I like reading the posts without needing to change my search (I don't just read the for sale posts currently, I jump between). If we could get the classifieds incorporated into that type of thing and get rid of the "for sale" section (so not having both) - then I'd be totally happy. I like the idea of prices being added from the get go!
6. Forgot I still had this. Would take £150 for the deluxe sansamp
7. The shop doesn't like iphones either apparently! Will try and order on my laptop later! Keep up the good work
8. Envelope filter and low pass filter maybe?
9. There's about 15 threads about this so far. Ped et al have said it's being looked into and that all member data is held behind even more security.
10.
Check out the Aguilar TH500.
+1 I actually tested out the amps you mentioned. Was personally blown away by the TH500. It's now on my "to buy" list. The Ampeg and Orange are no longer. The TC wasn't bad.
11.
Okay - I'm failing to get pictures each night i'm at home... So on that note. £150 delivered for the Deluxe Sansamp and £85 delivered for the VT Bass I'm not in a massive rush to shift these, but thought itd be worth dropping to my lowest price.
VT Bass sold pending.

19. Allo! I bought these pedals a few weeks ago and I've now been tempted by something else entirely. Sooooo:- 1) Sansamp VT Bass v2 - £100 -Still boxed and what not. 2) Sansamp Deluxe Bass Driver - £170 - Dont think I got the box for it. [s]3) Death By Audio Total Sonic Annihilator - £50 - Boxed with all the bumph[/s] Details about the sansamp Deluxe. For bassists who like to switch it up on stage, the SansAmp Bass Driver Deluxe is the ultimate live tool for the bass-hopping, preset-stomping player. The Deluxe is all about fast delivery of monster Tech 21 bass tones in the fray of a live performance. Dual inputs enable two instruments to be on-line and ready to go with a pop-free selector. You can program three custom tones for each input, or use all six for a single instrument. You can also program the FX loop to engage your favorite effect with a particular setting and the Deluxe will bring it every time that preset is selected. The fat, funky tones of the SansAmp Bass Driver series are legendary. With an all-analog signal path, two inputs, six presets, a programmable effect loop, and parallel/tuner out, the stage-optimized Deluxe is all that with cheese and pickles. Details about the VT bass:- The tower of power pumping through a stack of 10-inchers is the legendary bass tone for players who enjoy being heard. From chunky funk with the ubiquitous flip top, to the higher gain growl of indie rock. Still need more? Lean on the Character control for the fat distortion of Crimson and King's X. It all sounds massive DI. Clean SVT® thump to dirty earthquaking rump, you dial it in. Postage would be about £5 each I'd guess. Paypal or Bank Transfer preferred. 20. Thought about moving your thumb a few mm's down the pickup? Getting a thumb rest? Learning the floating thumb technique? Also has you said - less thumb pressure - let the attack come from your fingers!
21.
Nothing strange about it - I offered a brand new set of La Bella Deep Talkin' roundwound bass strings to any interested party if they'd make a £10 donation to Basschat, I even said I'd pay for the postage costs. What then happens is a couple of miserable cynical bastards come along & question my motives for doing so, which really pisses me off & causes me to retract the offer. Pretty simple really.
Can I just confirm that it was Top Morto who originally offended you? Perhaps he genuinely didn't know if paypal was trackable/you were in contact with Ped. But Ho hum I'm sure some binman will be very happy with the strings. PS:- If you were that bothered about donating to BC - why not try and sell the strings for a teeny tiny amount? Then you could donate that money yourself...? Instead of just chucking them? Whats done is done I guess
