1. Hi guys, Give me some advise here! I'm thinking of doing the unthinkable and more of less ditching my pedals. I had a practice in a Tomahawk style band the other night and had my board there, but only used the tuner.... I loved it.. I'm tempted to go Tuner, OC2 and Oxide. Maybe keeping the BEF and hot hand (since they're fun and were a gift) What would you do? I've just started enjoying my actual basses tone again, and I think fuzz and stuff is just annoying me.. I just want to use fuzz for moments where it would actually benefit the song, as opposed to just now where it's my primary sound. Cheers Dave
2. This is a really pretty bass. Think I've fallen for Statii now
3. This makes me sad that the Laklands aren't up to scratch now I love my (Skyline) DJ4 - best neck i've ever played, it's quite light and sounds brilliant. Shame that the QC has gone all fender and now seems to be hit or miss. EDIT:- Mines also didn't cost £1k
4. Keep trying. Just make sure you know the bass line like the back of your hand (eg can do it without thinking) and then add the vocals in. I find holding a conversation with someone whilst playing a line (blues scales for example) and try to not "sing" the notes can help.
5. Think if I had the cash just now I'd snap this up. Heard far too much good things!

10. I can read most of it fine. Except when theres text on your arm/head/bass. Then it gets a bitty harder. Maybe having an option to go text only?
11.
Ahh, standard, makes sense now. I've gotta look up this clone, don't want to pay a crazy amount for the real one..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVR0W7q3hZE
There's a video on youtube from a talkbass dude. Plays Chris W's full rig pretty much. I've borrowed it from my old guitarist - he paid £20.
13. +1 to everything above. Including the Oxide love
14.
Finally, a board I can understand... Two things, what's the box on the top left, and what are your loops? Edit: It looks like your Xero is missing some knobs..
Box on the left is a Human Gear Animato clone. Seems to sound pretty like the real one (I believe). Loops are a) OC2 - Animato b)Oxide - BEF - Xenograph. Just to allow me to get the sounds in my head. The Xenograph has missing knobs? As far as i know everythings on it! (it's just the std one - not deluxe). Feels weird not having a board which weighs more than me!
15. Cheers guys - Thats pretty much the idea i'm going for. How easy would they be to mod to include an exp out? for someone like Max etc... Any ideas?
16. Also - is it possible to add an exp output? That would be veery handy!
17. Hi guys, I've almost got my board sorted but was thinking of another noise I want to make. The noise involves going up 1 octave (maybe 2..) So this pedal seems good... Any one used it? Thoughts?

FX advice
Hi dudes, Just recently I've been dabbling in the world of FX and I was wondering if I could pick your brains? I've bought myself a mark bass supersynth, a source audio multiwave distortion, I'm in the process of acquiring a source audio pro envelope filter and I've got a boss tuner. My questions!: Is there an optimum order in which to place these pedals to get the most out of them? Also can anyone recommend a decent pedalboard and power supply? Thanks oh ever knowledgeable ones! Andy
I would do. Tuner > Synth > MWBD > BEF But play with it. See whats bests for you. The MWBD works well in front of the BEF
19.
Sorry to hear than Manny, You'll be looking ofr a job then.
Sadly yeah. Got a few things but nothings really tickling my special place yet. Also open to sensiable (sp?) offers on the above
