1.
Yo Guys, As I'm still learning bits and pieces, one piece of equipment I want to get a hold of is a decent DI box. I'm no master to the DI boxes so I thought I'd ask you guys to see what you'd recommend. I use a B.C Rich Warbeast Trace 4 String Bass and a GT10B Multi-FX pedal so I was wondering from there what would be a good DI Box that would work. I previously searched on giggear.co.uk for one which they only had 2 different DI Boxs for bass guitar. So yeah... Anyone out there who's got a pretty good idea what kind of DI Box I'd wanna get a hold of and prices? Thanks!
Weirdly enough isint the behringer one alright for what it does? Unless you want to spend a fair wad on a Avalon U5.
2.
REALLY? "Bloody forever"? I'm sorry, but it'd take me 3 hours to even get to any of the cities they're playing in, let alone the venue. Forgive me if my sympathy is a little shortcoming at the moment. (And yes, do also forgive me for being one of those poor people that haven't moved to live in the metropolis).
Same Which also means taking a day or 2 off work. Though I can get to Glasgow in far less time now. I might still go though... me and a mate have been wanting to see them for yonks. Just get a cheapo hotel and have a night out in G'town!
3.

Hahaha niiiiice! Also don't buy from rich. He's a terrible man. After playing his toys I wanted new ones! I lie - he's an utter gent and you should buy with utmost confidence! Also great pedal at a decent price!
4.
"priced at £60/£75 (subject to booking fee)" according to the Roadrunner announcement, which looks about the same as last time.
Jesus Christ! I'd love to see them, but I can't justify that!
5. Bump for revised prices. Sorted out my issues so yayyyy! But this stuffs not being used so its aswell heading. Just as an fyi - the SFX looper cost over £240 to be made, so grab yourself a bargin! Also save yourself some customs charges on the dubscope.
6. These are amazing heads. I used to have one and it was looooovely!
7. I used to do this with mine. Get a nice clean sound from one channel, get a nice gritty one from the other. I used an ABY box though so i could do clean/dirty/both
8. I'd say circa 50 quid too. Check parcel2go also
9.
Looking for an answer here as to what would be the best sequence in which to link my pedals, and why? I'll be using ... Trace Elliot SMX dual compressor MXR M82 bass envelope filter Marshall shredmaster distortion I haven't used effects before, so I'm pretty clueless on the subject. Any of your gems of wisdom would be gratefully appreciated. Ta.
I would do compressor, distortion, filter. Personally mind. Have a play to what sounds best. Also think, for example, do want to filter your dirt? Or distort your filter?
10. Interested in any trades? Would like to try this out.
11. Don't suppose you'd fancy any trades? I have pedals and board!
12.
I had a good play with Pil.I.Stein's Oxide and didn't like it all. Very weak next to my Mastotron - Si did mention he thought there was an issue with the Oxide though - did you get it looked at? I love this Stache. Its bloody amazing. Totally blown away by it.
Really? Wow. I was the opposite! The Stache does sound lush. You keeping the Mastotron also?
13. Bumparoony. Need to free up funds now to get a smaller board.
14. That sounds really nice. Wonder how it would compare against the IE Oxide.
15.
I'm kind of interested in the Dubscope, though to be honest I really just want your Oxide ! Will take the pair if you can bear losing the fuzz, though I realise it's not for sale and yes I am being desperate...
Sorry bud! I love my Iron Ether pedals Totally worth every penny! Even with customs.
16. Bump for slight price drop. £65 - death by audio £90 - dubscope £185 - SFX loop £135 - pt-pro Happy to ship abroad (at cost to buyer sadly) - also will knock some cash off for collection/multibuys.
