1. PT-pro sold (thankfully in Aberdeen )
2. I'll do the Pedaltrain pro for £120 delivered now. Quite fancy ordering my new board (to stop me thinking...oh I have a space there.. I should fill it...) It's £177 online (cheapest I could find) and it's pretty much brand new.
3. Cheers guys, I shall have a look on youtube and see what like Also have emailed Alex to see what his thoughts are.
4.
Barefaced S12T and one of loads of Class D amps might suit.. Genz/TC/Markbass are the mainstream contenders...
I was thinking Barefaced actually, though I'd be worried about the tweeter since i've never owned a cab with one... I hear stories pretty often of people busting their tweeters etc... I do have quite alot of low end at times. What are the sounds of those heads generally like, I think my amp sound is pretty vintage sounding (think RATM kinda) so some valve grit and not that clean. So I'm unsure if Markbass would be suitable?
And GK! I'm not sure why they're so often overlooked. The MB500 or Fusion would do well in a lightweight setup. Also there's the NEO cabs, I use an MB Fusion and one 212NEO at some gigs and it does a great job.
What kinda sound does the GK amps tend to give? I used to have one of the GK 212Neo cabs, and found it abit - well high? Like modern sounding? cheers folks
5. Hey guys, In the next few months my band should be gigging again. My problem is I have absolutely no backline now! My requirements are:- a decent wack of power, the band are loud (scratch...guitarist is loud), but we always play with PA support. Lightweight - I live in a top floor flat in a pretty shady area of town. So if possible, carried into the flat in 1 trip - so sadly no Ampeg valve heads! Or Mesa 400+ heads. Been there before, and as much as I'd adore one, they're just to heavy for me. Same applies to big cabs - just dont have the space. Cost - currently this isnt a factor, as its something I can put money aside for in the next few months. Soundwise - I use lots of fuzz tones and filters and play rock/synth/dubstep/metal kinda mix. So something that lets the fx shine through and not just muddy the waters as it were. I have a newish style Astra so most cabs should fit, though I do often have to carry other equipment... I'm not likely to really test much since we have nowt up here but I could travel to Glasgow/Edinburgh. Sooo - any thoughts?

We're back...
I spent time on Pornhub......I quite liked it. A few more cocks than on here, but only just
Yet still less cocks than another well well know bass site...
7. Bought Graeme's Sonuus B2M - brilliant to deal with, no issues at all and it arrived really quickly. Buy/Sell with confidence!

Yay! Thought it'd need to do work whilst at work. Back to skiving... I mean research for something for work....
9.
I'd be checking out this new user who joined yesterday and appears to have administrator status.
Yikes, Thats kinda scary!
10.
£136 for one seat? None of the London seats come close to that price except the VIP ones at £199! Front section at 02 worked out less than £85 per ticket including the usual fees/add-ons/charges
that was 2 seats (me and my other half/someone else) + the booking fee. I'd love to see them, I just can't justify that expense.. Christ it cost me like 20 quid to see maiden last year.
11. Bumpy - had some interest but nothing has came from it.
12. I've decided that they can get knotted. With Ticketsoup (for the Glasgow gig) - for crap seats it cost £136. I'd rather watch the crappy phone videos. Nothing much closer to the stage. Sorry Rush, I'd love to see you but at that price...no...just no...
13. I really want a try an OTB with my setup
14. Hmmm this is about the size of a pt2 isin't it?
15. Ive heard about these too. Seem okay. Dunno how easy they'd be to clone. Theres weird goo inside them i heard?
16.
Yo Guys, As I'm still learning bits and pieces, one piece of equipment I want to get a hold of is a decent DI box. I'm no master to the DI boxes so I thought I'd ask you guys to see what you'd recommend. I use a B.C Rich Warbeast Trace 4 String Bass and a GT10B Multi-FX pedal so I was wondering from there what would be a good DI Box that would work. I previously searched on giggear.co.uk for one which they only had 2 different DI Boxs for bass guitar. So yeah... Anyone out there who's got a pretty good idea what kind of DI Box I'd wanna get a hold of and prices? Thanks!
Weirdly enough isint the behringer one alright for what it does? Unless you want to spend a fair wad on a Avalon U5.
17.
REALLY? "Bloody forever"? I'm sorry, but it'd take me 3 hours to even get to any of the cities they're playing in, let alone the venue. Forgive me if my sympathy is a little shortcoming at the moment. (And yes, do also forgive me for being one of those poor people that haven't moved to live in the metropolis).
Same Which also means taking a day or 2 off work. Though I can get to Glasgow in far less time now. I might still go though... me and a mate have been wanting to see them for yonks. Just get a cheapo hotel and have a night out in G'town!
18.

Hahaha niiiiice! Also don't buy from rich. He's a terrible man. After playing his toys I wanted new ones! I lie - he's an utter gent and you should buy with utmost confidence! Also great pedal at a decent price!
19.
"priced at £60/£75 (subject to booking fee)" according to the Roadrunner announcement, which looks about the same as last time.
Jesus Christ! I'd love to see them, but I can't justify that!
20. Bump for revised prices. Sorted out my issues so yayyyy! But this stuffs not being used so its aswell heading. Just as an fyi - the SFX looper cost over £240 to be made, so grab yourself a bargin! Also save yourself some customs charges on the dubscope.
21. These are amazing heads. I used to have one and it was looooovely!
22. I used to do this with mine. Get a nice clean sound from one channel, get a nice gritty one from the other. I used an ABY box though so i could do clean/dirty/both
23. I'd say circa 50 quid too. Check parcel2go also
