1. i think mines is right... EDIT - It is!
2. I'd love to try one out. The fanned fret idea looks interesting. Must get back to london again
3. I love the sound of lakland dj4 into svt cl and 610. Was tonal heaven. I miss that head and cab SO much Such a lovely sound!
4. Brilliant little things. Tuning never seems to slide much. Would probs only use it live. I'd be really paranoid recording with it!
5.
I think there's already one in Aberdeen, isn't there? But if you arrange something for us we wouldn't say no. We're already playing in Inverness in May, so another jump up and we are in Aberdeen This is what's coming up on Saturday... (well, better than this, we were a bit subdued that day ) http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=365889720099992
I would offer to do a gig for ya but im swamped Good luck mate!
6. on another note - fancy a trip to Aberdeen? Always enjoy seeing RATM tribute bands!
7. Bad idea to check this on an iphone.. I cant see anything wrong!
8. I really want to hear one of these :s my pedalboard is sooo bare now heh.
9. How does the tubescreamer sound? I've never heard the bass one.
10. Pete bought my Stingray recently - had great comms, paid swiftly and let me know when the bass had arrived safely. Enjoy it mate
11.
You can connect a momentary foot switch to the Deep Impact to scroll through the presets in he opposite direction. I would recommend the Loop Master Mini Tap Tempo for this as its tiny. I used to use one when I had a Deep Impact and it worked really well.
Hah beaten to the punch! as a side note:- my "down switch" is on my switching unit that Max made me.
12.
So here's my board to date, I reckon this is how it's likely going to stay for a while but am now thinking of getting an LS2 or similar (any recommendations/suggestions/feedback from you guys would be appreciated), once I'm definitely happy with it I'm planning on replacing the existing patch leads with George L's and then tidying the underside cabling of the board - I'll probably move the Diago Powerstation back underneath as well - actually that's a point worth mentioning - I previously had (no laughing at the back!) a Soundlab Power Supply and whilst it coped with powering my pedals it was horrifically noisey even at rest!? - the Diago seems infinitely better so am well pleased with that. So the latest addition being the Deep Impact, am I right in thinking you can add an expression pedal to this? Or a footswitch to toggle the sounds? Again, any feedback would be gratefully received. Cheers, Pete
Tidy looking board! You can attach a second footswitch to toggle settings down. Make sure its not latching though.. otherwise you need to double tap (learned from when I used the guv'nor to do it!) Dont think you can attach an Exp out. Welcome to the Deep Impact club!
13. I actually tested this today. Great little amp - was going through a classic line 112. Would still be curious how it would handle a gig. £399 and £200 odd for the single cab. Would be nice having such a nice setup.
14. Yo - is the bass eq still here? I'll take it if so.
15.
I edit my last post before you replied - sorry about that. Day/weekend trip to Notts is the answer!
Could be doable let me work out logistics and stuff.
16.
Course! Thats my idea of heaven.
If only shipping my board wouldnt be a pain Think i should order some george l's and cables too.
17.
Loads of options. GigRig has the benefit of being so powerful that it will always have room to grow. You're kind of future proofing your power system if you end up with a massive board. At the end of day, you just need whatever works for you bud!
The others seem to have x amount per output. The gigrig seems to share. Think i might order after payday. Shep - dont suppose you fancy another board to feng shui up? heh
18.
Ouch. Yeah some pedals are a bit of a bummer like that. The adapter would be a monster as well - bigger than some pedals! lol
I'm still unsure if the gig rig way would be best. Might have a gander at the voodoo labs one..
19.
My money would be on the power supply not giving it what it wants! You heard from Dan?
Hah yeah! Std base 2 thing. Except the dha... Which needs 3(!) supernova's in paralell. Think i'll get another supply for that. Power for all (bar dha) - 160 quid Power for all (inc dha) - like 300 odd! :|
20.
Just how many Aberdeen/N/E based bass players are there on here? G...
we should have an Aberdeen bass bash well by that, I mean all go to the pub for a pint.
