1. I went to an audition for a covers band:- they sent me the set (which had about 100 songs on it) - didn't say which to learn... and when I suggest a few I'd learned (varying styles etc) I was told "Ah we've not done that one for ages" I assume I didn't get it!
 2.
I had the same thing - except I booked with Parcel2go (Still with UPS though). Were meant to collect on Friday but I'm still waiting! Thankfully its being collected from my office.
Thankfully mine was just collected.
 3.
I think it depends what you're looking for. The singer and I are researching this quite a lot at the moment. Generic things we've picked up (although this is with metal). - Look confident, move with the music in general - Look at the crowd / look around - Adopt a wider stance than normal (was very odd to me too begin with but actually feel LESS of a pillock than before - Interact with the environment, rest on monitors etc - Interact with the rest of the band, move over to where the guitarist is playing, go rock out with the singer - Know when to blend into the background so that you're not all competing for attention at once - When walking across a stage (assuming your stage IS big enough to walk on) try to walk in time with the music Would love for others to add to this list
This is a good one. I tend to have a stage persona. Eg - I'm fairly quiet offstage but when I get up there, I just go wild. Also - we as musicians are the paid (normally) entertainment, got to actually entertain! I hate seeing bands just standing on stage. No movement etc - doesnt even look like the guys on stage are happy to be there!

 5.
Thanks gents, was looking to "share the love" on this pedal, I know what they go for on ebay but I've fallen out of love for that site big time and money isn't everything (is it?!. I picked it up here so thought I'd have a go at flogging here too. I think it's a fair price, if someone has some cash and fancied buying to take a punt on ebay then power to them!
Oohh tempting shame the fee's would be mental.
 6. Totally love my Deep Impact - Very good pedal. I think someone on here was looking a 2nd (or 3rd?!) If I could justify the cost, I'd buy a 2nd!
 7. Hey guys, I'm after a few new pedals and have ran out of space (or will do very soon). So i'm looking to trade my current board (PT2 with softcase) for a PT-pro with softcase (obv with a bit of cash your way). I know this might be a long shot, but I thought I'd try my luck Dave EDIT:- I've decided to sell also. Got a few new things in bound so REALLY dont have space! £90 to your door (If UK) Board does have velcro on it.
 8. Bump. £230 to your door for a great Power Amp!
 9. Hmm thought about a custom? SFX would be a good shout.
 10.
Sorry pal. Gas is a terrible thing!!
That it is! Might keep an eye on ebay
 11. I like the sound of the IE. May see about that. And a small exp pedal.
 12.
It sounds like a low pass filter after Octave and Fuzz to me, with the range starting from below what even sounds to be audible!
Would the xenograph do it you think? Or any other suggestion?
 13. I was REALLY hoping you'd say it was rubbish
 14.
Not sure I can stomach listening to Muse twice in one week but I'll try and have another listen later...
Think it's the 3:10 mark. just basic low pass filter i think?
 15.
The main riff? Sounds like octave - gated fuzz - wet sounding envelope filter. 'Typical' synth tone as it were.
Theres a filter sweep in the mid part
 16.
What do you want it for? Envelope/Auto Wah duties? There are so many now it's hard to choose. I'm Still very happy with my Groove regulator. The MXR was good if not a little too wet for me. I picked up an old Tone Factor 442 Analogue Filter and that sounds awesome after fuzz! If you want an LPF and the Moog is too big it's got to be the Iron Ether - but Tonally it's TOTALLY different as a resonant filter.
You heard the muse song uprising? Theres a filter part in that which would work with an idea i have!
 17.
Really keen to hear the Dubscope - let me know how you get on!! So many toys, not enough hours...
Agreed! I wonder how well it will play with the BEF. Any suggestions on filter? The moog was too big!
 18.
Totally unacceptable!
I've got a dubscope on the way, interested in an EQ pedal (thanks to your blog!) and tempted by something to raise the octave.. Need a filter also.. Not sure what to get..
 19.
I've got a Diago Tourman you can take off my hands if you like
Hah! I 've been down that road before. It was a really heavy road.
 20. My guitarist now has a bigger board than me. This must be changed!
 21.
Yes it does.
Hahah that smiley is far to suitable!
 22.
Hehe. Currently working on something very purple this very minute.
There's a joke in here somewhere The thing you're working on - does it have a purple head(stock)?
