2. We use backing tracks and a click all the time. Only the drummer hears it. It's all good until he gets a bit excited - falls outta time, then we need to get the supersoaker out and get him to calm down
 3.
buy what sounds good, don't think a set ratio of monetary value needs to be / should be the yardstick
+1
 4.
The latest incarnation: Don't think there's room for any more!
Very nice. I miss my guvnor!
 5.
I do quite like the look of that. Not sure what i would do with that extra string though Eyes are still peeled.
They make brilliant thumb rests Also my mate did have one, he's since sold it Sorry!
 6. Arggg! I miss my ampegs. Once i'm back from New York I probs will Good bye money!
 7.
Although I don't have the PF210, I have a Classic 210 and from what I've gathered they're quite similar in volume levels and tone. My little rig's loud enough to fill a fairly large room with plenty of bass in a 5-piece band and that was only with the volume on 6! I was thinking of nabbing the PF210 off Buff, but decided against it as he 210HE is so similar! Truckstop
MUST RESIST!
 8. Also I love how the amp looks purple in the photo! Totally would love a purple (bass) head, go well with the bass!
 9.
Devils in the detail pal- post edited
Must resist the urge to buy one. I was tempted by the same deal on Andertons. How loud can the 210 go? Eg could you monitor only with that?
 10.
This. If someone can't be bothered to use a full point or capitalise the letter 'I', then I'm out!
Hah! I totally tried to proof read my post to make sure it was right! You win this round!
 11.
. The thing that has impressed me most was the price- great deal at £14 for the amp
Not a bad price On a more serious note:- I really fancy one of these with the 2x10 cab. Seem brilliant and exactly what I need.
 12. I have a general rule. I judge the way they type. If i get a PM about an item with terrible English (eg Tlking Lyk dis/y u no talk propa) i generally think "Hmm this spells trouble" And so far, the only issue I had was with a guy who typed like that, 1 @rse in several years aint bad! I shudder when I get "U stil gt the bass?!"
 13.
I tried an old ashdown abm (is that the one with the sliders?) MB1. "SLIDERS!..Thats how we roll here!"
14. Silly question - How do these amps sound with effects? I tried an old ashdown abm (is that the one with the sliders?) and found it was really muddy and had "too much" lows? Have ashdown sorted this with the mibass?
 15.
Hi. My search continues for another bass. Tried some Overwaters, very nice, but i have a hankering for a Schecter and until i try one out I cant decide. I think i would like a Schecter but there being no where close to me with any around that i can try (without having to buy it unplayed...) i cant justify shelling out before at least trying one out. So, are there any kind souls near to Aberdeen with one of these that would be willing to meet up so i can have a shot? Obviously i`m willing to travel a reasonable amount as required. I`ll bring my Ric so you can have a shot of that if it interests you. Thanks.
I think one of my mates might have... Will ask him.
 16.
In general I try to not look like someone has stepped out of the audience and picked up a random instrument. It's not a snobby thing, it's just I feel better having made a bit of an effort to look like I meant to get up there. Generally a shirt and tie, with a fondness for waistcoats. Having said that, last gig was a polo shirt with lots of vaguely automotive patches on it (think someone going to a fancy dress party as a motor mechanic and overthinking it a little) and black jeans. I thought I'd tone it down a bit for the local rock dive bar
Was that photo at a Panda eyes gig? Also Lemon Tree?
 17. This is such a pretty bass... i really detest gas when I can't afford to blow money!
 18. I'm generally shorts with tshirt. or jeans with tshirt..
 19. I've aquired a copilot dubscope... Interested to see how it'll work.
 20. I was using the ernie ball regulars. Also love the DR coated ones now.
 21.
Interesting. I usually just say bring some biscuits to the studio and all is good. You're really keen! Currently running the Roscoe > Pedalboard > Genz Streamliner 900 > Big Twin T. BOOM! Find yourself in Nottingham anytime soon and the door is always open. For you to have a few hours trying stuff out, not to be my wife!
Hah built my hopes up bud! Aye thats pretty epic mate, will try and get down that way in a bit! Still say we should plan a tour
 22.
Ha. I'll see if I can escape the wife :-)
To be honest, let me play the roscoe and pedalboard and i'll be your wife! hahaha!
