1.
:-) I had a guy ask if he could use my Roscoe at a gig about 6 months ago. We played a live show with ska & punk bands (odd mix for us to play with) and one guy was drunk out his face and wouldn't let it go. Asked about 5 or 6 time if he could use my bass rather than his Mex Jazz. I thought he was joking around to start with... turns out he does it at every gig and often people say yes!
What....?! Why wouldn't he just sell it and invest in something he'd rather play. Pleb.
 2.
is your drummer a looker?
well he looks like a girl...
 3. "I can't practice this weekend - I'm poledancing" From the drummer.
 4.
I always let others use my cab, but NEVER my amp. Even with advance notice. If anyone asks the answer is no. Using the cab comes with the requirement that no drink gets sat on top of it. I always tell folk, if I see a pint on it during your set I'll come and unplug it mid set, even if it's not your pint. protect it. People always think I'm joking... 6 months ago, at a Nottingham show a guy did not take notice. He turned up 'assuming' he could borrow gear, yet I still let him use the cab after he pleaded another bassist to let him use his amp. I went up to the stage mid set and pointed at the pint sat on my cab. He moved it looking a little coy. 5 minutes later, his singer put a pint of water on it. I gave him 60 seconds to notice, walked over, got up on stage as they finished a number, flipped the power to his amp off and unplugged my cab. The band started swearing at me. I swore back and told them they had been warned twice. My closing words were "if you want to play a full set next time, I'd suggest bringing your own gear". I wasn't very popular. Oh well. They were warned.
I'd have taken the cab off stage at that point...
 5.
Sounds like a man I need to make contact with; I can't resist stuff like that. I did build my own blender recently which was similar to the x-blender except it had 2 channels that could be isolated independantly, mixed with each other or mixed with dry or even run in series and then mixed with dry. The concept was great and it did work; only problem was the tone loss was too much as a result of my inexperience in pedal building skills and i've never bothered to try going back to it. One day I will pick it up again as it was a thing of beauty!
Max is great. I've had a few stuff done by him (also a blend/looper funnily enough!) - will make pretty much anything you ask. I'm still toying with getting a Fuzz Factory for bass
 6. Here are some other pics. I only have my iphone so apologies! I've tried to get any marks to show (only the headstock really has) Headstock. Rear of Headstock with detuner. Tried to show the sparkle finish also.. The back Headstock Bass
 7. I regret ditching mine. It was just a cheapo Ridgewood Jazz clone. I actually walk past it every day... one that looks identical (perhaps the same?!) is in the pawn shop around near my flat... £85. Kinda tempted to get it and replace the pups etc! When I have cash again..
 8.
Matching HeadStock.
Ahhh makes sense! It sadly does not. I'll grab some full body pictures tonight and upload them.
 9.
MHS?
MHS? err
 10. Thats really weird... What about the current each pedal is taking? It's not trying to take more power than it can deliver?
 11. So each time you've had an issue, it's been in the same room? Have you tried it elsewhere? like at home? Might just be dodgy power at the venue/outlet you're using. Could be worth a quick test to see what happens.

I got mine on ebay.
 13. Afraid not Gotta pay for the remainder of my new custom bass and my trip to new york next month. It's a Lakland Skyline DJ4 with hipshot extender. My custom is pretty much a Lakland with slightly different neck but with stingray and jazz pups. And LEDs.
 14. I use a presonus USB box. Nice and useful thing and also very well built. Would be worth a gander
 15.
Another one is to set the neck volume to 'off', bridge to 'full' then get a faux stuttering trem 'cut-off' sound by toggling the switch back and forth. Loads of famous records with that on (brain isn't giving me any names right now tho!).
Tom Morello and Jonny Greenwood also. My guitarist has a doorbell on his for the same effect as a killswitch
 16. I echo the comments about Dood - great guy. If he were closer to me, i'd probs go to sharpen my technique. Also - that post count. Christ on a bike?!
 17.
Brian's just bought my Epi 112 - good comms (in spite of him being out of the country when we completed the deal!) and prompt payment, many thanks Cheers John
Another cab Brian?!
