1. I echo everything above. Direct from Taylor, brilliant comms. Even with an issue with the pedal being shipped (had slipped a pile) but taylor sorted it quickly and refunded my shipping
 2.
My only criticism is the timing is a bit all over the place.... other than that great stuff
Agree with this. Just keep at it
 3. Balls! I just bought a Hothand and BEF! (well the BEF was present but hey - close enough)
 4. Hi guys - Got a few new pictures to show you. I'm getting really excited now. The neck begins:- Truss rod:- Template of neck drawn:- Neck shape sorted! Neck once again from behind (with a cheeky peek at the body now :- And finally, the headstock:- I love the fact it's beginning to take shape and look like a proper bass. No major issues encountered just yet:- minus one involving pickup location/scratch plate, but its all sorted now. Dave
 5.
We should have an Aberdeen bass-bash for those who don't make Moffat (and those who do!) There are enough of us on here now
Lets just meet for a pint somewhere Heh but i'd be up for this!
 6. Hey mate - another Aberdeen bass chatter here! Welcome - say hello to suddenly realising that you NEED another amp/cab/bass/effect..... It's all downhill from here Davie
 7. Crazy! I'm toying with the idea of buying a bigger board or a 2nd one... Where do you get your george l's and cable from? If i get another board i'll probs recable everything.
 8.
It is awesome! Indeed - My 'lower level' of the board has been messy for too long - out of sight, out of mind and all that. I decided it was time to tidy and cut cables down a little better etc. Its pretty tidy now! I actually contacted George L's about an endorsement. 72 Plugs seemed like a fair C.V. for it! lol
Jesus! I have 10.... Good lawd my man!
 9.
Cheers - can't wait! Just checked out your build diary - that purple looks wicked! Is yours ready yet?
Not yet sadly. I just text Rich tonight. Hopefully be ready for the bass bash in febuary. fingers crossed!
 10. Congrats dude! I really the colour of that purple... Hmmm
 11. Please tell me, people actually WANT instruments which look that abused?! It looks like someones found in the tip!
 12. I wouldnt say headlining - more playing last. I'd do it. You'll be needing live experience if you've only gigged once. Get those niggles out. Also - if its a friday night, you may get a crowd who will just appear for a drink then stay! Headlining to me is when you have a crowd who will come see you/you can attract a crowd. IMO playing last does not mean headlining.
 13. Hi guys - appears i've totally ran out of space on my PT2. I might need to sell it so to get a PT-pro. Would there be any interest in this? Maybe £80? Its the softcase version. Dave
 14. I got new strings if that counts. Worryingly my sister got the right brand and gauge!
 15.
You know it! Just waitin on my custom switcher/looper from Max @ SFX in the new year (will be replacing the LS-2) and I'm all set for 2012's gigging and recording.
Thats kinda what i have. Switcher/looper with downswitch for deep impact with seperate volume controls and a blend control. Super pedal!
 16.
As promised... The final signal routing and tidy up of the 'lower level' of my board... Gigrig Generator and all the distributors and voltage multipliers that means my entire board is run off 1 mains plug (except the Moog MP-201)... And the new, super tidy cabling in place! Woop woop... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... I told you I was using two OC-2's My Channel 2 is now more effective as my 'sub' channel: OC-2 -> Unichorus -> GEB-7 Shep
Niiiiiice!
 17.
I have decided to get Max at sfx to build me a custom pedal incorporating the Micro Red Dragon http://www.sfxsound....icro_red_dragon with an XLR out. Decided I wanted solid state, so no risk of valve failure/fragility, but with ability to emulate valve sound. Plus his pedals are teensy so very gigbag friendly!
You wont regret doing this cant sing max's praises enough!
 18.
Don't worry we'll work something out.
Bet it works out i need 230v or something hah
 19.
Generally, the power supply must have sufficient voltage to provide about 2v for each LED in series (4v for blue and white) plus at least another 2v for the resistor. It soon mounts up.
ah feck!
 20. Might be worth giving max at SFX a shout. Get something made to order. Max is a great guy to deal with and his pedals are excellent also.
 21.
Lol... Tomorrow. Cabling is a mess at the mo. Moving things around etc...
Yass Will hold you to that! I need to figure out what to do with my board (again!) - my other halfs getting a BEF for my birthday i beleive. No space though
