If you're ever in Aberdeen i totally suggest trying to get a gig at the Moorings bar. I can probs give you the contact details if you like. Only do gigs on Saturday nights though. They also have a flat that you can stay in if you're out of town. The sound is awesome too. House bass amp is an Ampeg SVT 2 pro.

I sent my Warwick with the econ service. I made sure the bass was really well padded within the case and sent it. Arrived in no time at all, and according the buyer in amazing condition. Not bad for the price.

Hey all. Quick question. I recently bought an amp of someone locally. It was just for general faffing in my room etc. Didnt cost me too much etc. But im looking for some info on it. Does anyone know anything about a Peavey Basic 112? Its a combo that has a 12" speaker i think. It doesnt sound bad or anythng neither. If anyones interested in it, please feel free to fire me off a PM - i havent used it that much since i have just bought a thingy for my laptop. and i know nothing about it. Any help would be great. Mines doesnt have the J retro - so passive, i did like the Lakland strings, but ive used Ernie balls for years so them. 45-105 off hand i think.

i got an alesis 3630 of the bay. 24 quid plus 10 quid for a psu from alesis. it does a broken rack ear though (doesnt bother me at all)

I use a samson airline or something. It's got a wee bug for your bass and prety small reciever - sorta like an fx pedal in size. I got mine for somethin really lowish on ebay. One thing about it though - if your jack is on the bottom you might want to get a cable to plug the bug into - then stick that in your bass. I had to do that with my stingray in my old band, it kept sliding out with intense movement.
