1. I have had this great, clean-sounding head for quite some time, but it's been locked in the closet untouched for a few years now (not gigging, no cabinet anymore, lack of space/time....) so I apologise if you may find a dusty pot. Comes in a Gator flight case and includes its power cable and a speakon cabinet cable. (Sorry, but for some funny reason I cannot make the pics rotate in the right way, even if when I watch them in my PC they are OK....) I am afraid the serial number sticker disappeared long ago, although the back of the case clearly says 2- 8 ohms. I vaguely remember reading that some heads had some kind of an electrical issue, I do not know exactly. I have no way to verify and I do not remember having any problem with this, but if you are not satisfied I will refund you without hesitation (except for any return costs and PayPal fees, if any), that's all I can promise and do. Price excludes shipping (which could be a bit expensive due to insurance, size and weight), if interested please get in touch with your postcode for a quote. Established UK Basschatters may use PayPal, otherwise bank transfer or good, old-fashioned cheque (yes, they still exist.... LOL). No trades at all please, that would defy the purpose, I am playing so little that my other practice amp is more than enough. I am also selling an EDEN WTX 260 separately. Both amps are also on eBay UK. Thanks for looking. Claudio
2. I have had this great little portable amp (circa 1.5 kg!!) for quite some time, but it's been locked in the closet for a few years now (not playing enough, not gigging, no cabinet, lack of space...) so I apologise it you may find a dusty pot (although it's been kept bubblewrapped in a box). Very good condition, only some light swirls here and there. Very natural and progressive built-in compressor, switchable mids (550 Hz or 2.2KHz). This is a surprisingly warm-sounding solid-state (= non valve) head, thanks to its so-called "golden ear chip". Moreover, it can be used with headphones alone, no need for a load. 260W (max 300W), 4 ohms min. Includes UK and USA power plug, and original manual. This is one of a couple of reviews from Youtube https://www.youtube....h?v=BWulTkuomrQ Please note that Andertons Music sells the 264, not the 260. The 264 lacks the possibility to exclude / bypass the built-in compressor, to pad / soften the signal and to decide between pre and post D.I. eq. I know the two amps look the same, but they're not. Having said that, I have reviewed the price accordingly. Price excludes shipping (insured services only), if interested please get in touch with your postcode for a quote. Thanks for looking. Claudio

SOLD

That's brilliant!! Got 2 1989 and I agree about the sound similarity to pre-EBs (although the strings-through-body will always be a touch more "muffled", less snappy). But modern days 'Rays are much brighter, at least to my ears. GLWTS
4.
You will also be getting a total bargain as these are £2.5 new.
Two pounds fifty? Flipping heck, I might as well order one in every colour available before they rise to three quid... LOL No, really, cracking bass, GLWTS.
5. Wow! That's beautiful! I have a black 4-stringer in Vintage style (with scratchplate), blocks and binding. Fclefs nail that Marcus sound big time and are surely among the best Fender '70s clones imho, with a touch of hi-fi when active. I suggest BCers who want to know more to listen to the audio library in the Gallery menu on their website www.fclefbasses.com (don't bother with the video library, the sound is awful, mainly live footage taken with a mobile, or something like that). GLWTS.
6. Beautiful bass, a great '70s Fender clone in passive and true Marcus when active. GLWTS
7. I had one from new, bought 1982 and sold a few years ago, the photocopy of yours. Built like a tank, great versatile bass, and 24 frets can be an advantage for some. GLWTS
8. Noooooo!!! Do't do it!!!! LOL Jokes apart, they are both fab. By the way, their red brother and black cousin (also both 1989 and a handful of serials from yours) are here with me. GLWTS.
9. I have got one, they are terrific basses. GLWTS
10. My goodness... spectacular...
11. I have two '89s. Having had Rays from pre-EB to recent ones including Classics, I believe Rays from around these years are terrific instruments, especially if you like varnished necks and very low action. GLWTS
12.
Hi, what do the knobs do?
Without VTC they should be: vol, pan, treble, bass, active-passive miniswitch. The Sadowsky preamp is powerful, a little tweak does a lot.
13. I have had two Sadowsky NYCs from the same era (late '90s), with the same old Schaller roller bridge (which makes it for adjustable string spacing, unlike the current one) and not chambered, like yours, and the asking price is absolutely spot-on. GLWTS of a beautiful bass.
14. I had a black Sadowsky whose neck was laquered by Dave Wilson, an immaculate top quality job. GLWTS.
15. I have it in black, with the same neck like yours, pearl blocks and white binding, ash/maple. '70s Vintage Seymour Duncan single coils, 2-eq Mike Pope preamp with tone control. A '70s Fender clone with a hint of hi-fi added. Just beautiful. GLWTS.
16.
Hi, about 6.5-7.5kg, thanks. Mart.
Whaaat?? That's an anvil... I believe it's time for a new bathroom scale...
17.
Where do I find the serial number?
Stamped on the bridge, just below the saddles. I can nearly see it in the pics...
18.
Hello Not a clue on the year. I don't think its that old. Not sure how to find out either. ill look into it.
That "transitional" bridge ran (approx.) from 1993 until 1996, and the 6-bolt neck plate is also consistent with that period.
