For Sale in this thread are grade books for the Rockschool grade exams for Guitar and Bass. Consisting of:- Guitar Grades: (no Debut book), 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (x2), 6, 7, 8 plus the Companion Guide covering the whole series. Bass Grades: Debut, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (x2 each title), 6, 7, 8 plus the Companion Guide covering the whole series. Please don't ask for pictures - visit the Rockschool website instead! All in excellent or unused condition. All have their cd's. If you know what they are, you know what they do. I want to sell them as complete sets (and will most likely want to deliver them to anybody within range - 75 mile radius of Central Birmingham). Posting individual books or part sets is not on I'm afraid - please don't ask. As such, they'll be best for someone starting out on a teaching career and wanting full sets of the Rockschool series, or someone planning to tackle the whole series themselves. For teachers, they can be sold on to students at full price. Grade books retail new for £15 - £16 a pop, and the companion guides are normally £25 each. I'm asking for:- £90 ono for the Guitar set, £140 ono for the Bass set. Usual channels for questions and offers please. I value my reputation as a seller, so feel free to check my feedback HERE

Instinct should make you suspicious of an '80's Wal at this sort of price. Early Wals are getting strong prices currently. Sold my '84 lefty less than a year ago and the buyer did an exchange plus cash that valued mine at around £2500. Seen several more recently at similar prices. I'd want a few questions answered (and an opportunity to play it) before going much further. I did! For the record, neither was anywhere near as bad as the Bracknell ring road system the satnav decided to take us through - my heart goes out to the poor folk who have to do that every day!
I think he negotiated Swindon Town Centre too on the same day as he dropped off a guitar stand for me. He doesn't half get around the country, that's the second time he's been to mine, I rwally should stop buying off him but his prices are hard to beat Top man Andy.
Hi there. Yes it is. I still have the manual and original packaging. It's a parallel port. Come to think of it I'm not sure I still have a parallel lead, and may need to get one before despatch. Andy
Hi there Lefty. Is the MOTU Timepiece still avaliable & what version is it USB or parallel port? Gonna be needing one very soon... Cheers, Monkey.
I'd agree with that actually - during my search I found several sets of Codas being touted at around £300 a pair. I had a pair of Codas when they first came out, and whilst they were pretty good at the time they certainly wouldn't stack up against a half decent pair of modern speakers that you'd get for a lot less than £300.
They're not actually worth the money they fetch (IMO), because it's fairly old technology and newer drivers can do a lot better. However, the LS3/5a has been praised so often by cloth-eared idiot reviewers in the hi-fi press that they have gained cult status and this status has been conferred on the drivers used in that box.
Just found a pair of KEF Ref 101's (aka LS3/5a) on eBay with the same drivers and crossover design. £299 o.b.o. - and the wood isn't as nice as mine either! I genuinely thought nobody would pay good money for them... D'Oh!
If I'm not mistaken, those drivers often fetch around £100 on eBay.
