  1. Thank you sir! I must admit, the feet to shoes ratio is totally out. I’m in the region of 90 pairs of shoes and just the same feet I was originally issued with.
  2. Looks like an absolute doozy, would love to see more pics, but congrats on a fine new steed.
  3. Fine beasts

  5. Yes that’s my old bass. I’d do anything to be reunited with it!! I was hard up years ago and had to sell it, not a clue where it is now. Still waiting on Jon confirming specs back to me, soon as he does I will share. Gmail is absolutely terrible for storing sent items, so I can’t find the original email exchange.
  6. As for the air max, I’ll pop another photo of those up later. I have a pretty serious collection - there’s Parra’s, both Atmos Elephants (the 2007 OG’s and the 2017 reissue), LDN’s, HUF’s. I’ve got a pretty wild collection of Jordan’s, Raygun and Habibi dunks, various Travis Scott’s, etc…….
  7. Thanks everyone! I have asked Jon to ping over all the specs we went for, I know the preamp is an East. Neck profile is very slim - I have daft stumpy fingers! It’s super flamey roasted maple and I think there’s some wenge in there as well. The build actually took the best part of three years, but that’s on me - I specifically asked Jon to take his time over it. I’m a contractor and I was trying to spread dividends as much as possible. I think the usual lead time is around 18 months.
  8. I placed this order quite some time ago, so long ago in fact that I don’t even have the original email chain with all of the details on it. I did ask Jon to ping the spec back to me so I can share it with everyone, but this beauty arrived today. It’s not the first lavish spec Shuker I’ve owned, so I know how good his work is, but this is quite something. The preamp/pickup combo is fierce, a really biting tone. Soon as I get Jon to send the spec back to me I’ll share!
  9. Very sad news. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace fella.
  10. I can pop it on the bathroom scales. Not sure how accurate they are though, they keep telling me I’m getting heavier.
  11. Thanks chaps! I was always super sceptical about Warwick masterbuilt just because of the ridiculous prices. I think the list on this is somewhere north of €8000, which I wouldn’t pay in a million years. I can most definitely vouch for the quality though, this thing feels incredible, it has that beautiful resonance when it’s not plugged in and it’s a real looker. Will definitely post the Shuker when it arrives. I’m off to visit my mum in Edale soon, that will be my time to pick up from Jon.
  12. It had been sat in a parcelforce depot for some time. They didn’t bother to contact me to say it was there, had I left it another few days it would have been sent back to Japan! Hope you’re keeping well mate
  13. I found this beauty on eBay a while back, being sold by a fella in Japan. It’s a 2022 masterbuilt, but it had just been sat doing nothing and never bought or owned by anyone. I wasn’t in the market for a new bass (I am picking up a new Shuker any day now), but the opportunity to get this at about 40% of the list price (yes, Warwick list prices are silly) couldn’t be ignored. I have owned other Warwick basses and other high end basses, but this is something else. My iphone pictures won’t do it justice. It feels stunning, the neck is silky and plays like butter and it’s so beautiful to look at. Hope you all like it!

An absolute pleasure meeting you Simon, thank you for being so patient with me and my hectic schedule!
  15. Hey there! This would actually be on of the JM4’s right? I had one of the early ones, exact same colour and I seem to remember they were called JM’s.
  16. Yup, pretty sure it will need to be mentioned in my insurance. I’ve got quite a collection of expensive instruments now, those premiums are climbing!
  17. I agree with you actually, that would look great!
  18. Totally agree. The list price from Warwick is utterly bonkers, so it makes it feel like a bargain. Never had the pleasure of handling a masterbuilt Warwick, so I’m pretty excited about this one.
  19. I had the very first streamer double buck in the UK many years ago. Warwick cocked up and sent the wrong bass when I ordered a corvette double buck. I also owned a black stage I for a little while. So I know this is going to be good. I’ll make sure I get some clips when it arrives!
  20. I wasn’t really in the market for a new bass, but when I saw this up for sale, I felt I had to seize the opportunity. It’s a masterbuilt Warwick streamer stage II in a beautiful red finish. Interested to know if anyone owns or has previously owned a stage II. This is costing me a little over £3000, which is a lot but considering ordering one of these from Warwick is the pointy end of £8000, I figured it was a decent deal. This bass has never actually been played, so I’m getting a brand new instrument.
  21. I’m finding this interesting to read. I coughed up my money to Jon nearly 3 years ago and unless I press him repeatedly via email I get no updates whatsoever and I’ve no indication that my bass is close to completion. It’s really disappointing because I’ve had something from him before and the level of service wasn’t like this.
  22. Appreciate this, apologies if I was misleading!!!
  23. I’ll take 300 for this
  24. Looking for a quick sale here, some reasonable offer will do :)
