Looking for the opinion of any current or previous owners. I'm in the market for a lightweight head, I've always leaned towards Markbass in the past, but I'm exploring other options. I recently went and listened in to some samples on youtube of the Reidmar and I have to say it sounds amazing! I'm going to be playing a passive bass through it. Would love to hear the opinions of the good people of Basschat. For what it's worth, I'd probably pair it up with an EBS 1x12 cab.

Thanks bud! It may ultimately prove useful, I think (if what my mate tells me is correct) that Digidesign aren't selling replacement drivers but I assume I can just put anything that fits in there??

Yup, he asks for 200 up front. I also told him that I may not have the funds ready by the time he was finished, it wasn't a problem. Can't recommend highly enough, my new bass is absolutely beautiful. Even when I'm not playing it, I have it sat on the sofa next to me, literally can't stop looking at it!!!

A friend of mine has offered me some monitors for free if I can get them repaired. He tells me that he can't send them back to Digidesign since they dont want to know. The problem is that both of them are buzzing quite badly, one of them is also producing a fuzzy low octave. He thinks it's a fairly common issue, but he's got new monitors so they just sit lying about. Does anyone here think they could fix them? If so, I would pay for their time.

I've got a hankering for a YoB instrument too, but I'm leaning towards a guitar for that. I guess this isn't technically a NBD...........still waiting for Mark to send this out to me. But I went to my email this morning, just about to send Mark a note to tell him I was paying the rest of my outstanding balance. Low and behold, there's an email waiting for me telling me my bass is done! Wasn't expecting it for a few weeks yet Anyway, I went for a 60's base spec. Asked him to replicate the shade of green from the Mexican flag (Mark tells me that the photos aren't totally representative of the colour - the green in question is a bit darker), originally I went for heavy relic, then asked him to reign it in a bit. Have to be honest, it looks stunning and I just can't wait to get my hands on it now!! My new Limelight is here!!! Just waiting for it to land, but Mark very kindly sent me some pictures this morning. I'm told the colour on the pictures isn't totally representative of reality. To give you an idea, the green is supposed to match that on the Mexican flag.
