    I've taken the plunge!!! 60's style jazz, heavy relic, colour will be the same shade of green that's on the Mexican flag (I've found a cool relic'd Mex flag pickguard to go with it), matching headstock. Cannot wait!!!!

    I owned what was by a mile the best bass amp I've ever heard at a time when I wasn't playing the best basses I've ever had. Spector Euro LX5, ISP Beta Bass Preamp, ISP Vector Pro active cab. If anyone gets the chance to try the ISP setup, you MUST do it.

    Up for sale is my Taylor GS Mini acoustic guitar. These are basically scaled down guitars (details below) but are absolutely superb instruments. Mine just doesn't get any use at all and it seems a shame that such a great guitar should be neglected.     I'm considering getting a fretless, but I have to be honest, in 8 years of bass playing, I've probably spent no more than half an hour playing fretless!! I'd like some recommendations on a fretless that won't be too expensive, but won't sound or play like a piece of crap!     Today I shall be going to pay up for a 6 month old Ray35, with hard case and all other bits and pieces (strap, strings, leads, etc) for 480 quid!

    I've just been talking to United Airlines about this since I'm almost certainly going to be flying with a bass for the first time. They tell me it's no problem to carry it on and put it in hand luggage, but does a bass typically fit in hand luggage?
