I own four Eko acoustics, never tried an Eko bass though, quite jealous !

Back in the day we made a posterwith the dictionary definition of sock on it including all of the examples of uses of the word

"Clunk Click" and"Age of the train" aren't in use.

We're quite different in style, Odd Socks might be more accurate.

I'm in band called Sock. We started in 1990 and apart from a brief twenty year hiatus have been going ever since. A few years ago another much younger band started up with the same name. People occasionally tag us in Facebook posts intended to be about them. We find it funny and if they were based nearer to us we'd love to do a gig together.

No, the denim was really faded, white in place but the resin seemed to almost completely restore the dark blue colour.

Progress...I'm onto set up. the denim is visible again one slight snag, I'd forgotten thatvthe truss rod access was covered over with resin. I filled it with blu tac so it's just a matter of careful excavation and I should have her playable very soon.

I haven't had the time to try again since my last post. Maybe I'll download the drivers etc again this afternoon and try Reaper.

In many ways you are correct. I had spent another frustrating afternoon achieved nothing and needed to vent. My frustrations arise from the fact that the marketing implies that you'll be recording in minutes which I have found to be completely untrue. To compare my experience of digital recording with learning to play bass I haven't even managed to get it out of the case yet. I will respond to some of your questions when I've had a chance to try again. I had forgotten that we got a new computer and so yesterday's troubles were down to not having appropriate drivers / focusrite account etc. Once I have those I'll be back to square one or maybe two.

Sorry for my sum what negative tone nut I have never spent so much time and money on something over the years and yet got absolutely nowhere, achieved nothing. To continue with the car analogy I haven't even got the door open .

Good point, I am using a new computer since my last attempt so I will need to go through that again so I can concentrate on the brick wall of DAW whatever that is.

So what your saying is basically I am grateful for your help but my problem is on a more fundamental level. Imagine giving a set of car keys to someone from an uncontacted amazon tribe who's never seen a car before and telling them to depress the clutch and put it into first.

It might be useful to clarify... Despite some of the claims made by the manufacturers being debatable the device itself probably works. I just find digital recording impenetrable.
