3. Shared gear is a disaster. Try and agree to each of you owning a specific bit of kit. In mine I own the speakers, the guitarist owns the desk and a power amp, The drummer the cross over and another power amp. That way if one person leaves, he has a specific bit of kit he can take with him, or agree a price to leave it with the band.

  4. I have been using an m500 amp [the same amp section as this] with an 8x5 neo pjb cabinet for a year now, and after 40 odd years of bass playing its my favourite amp. The sounds once you get used to the multiple controls are excellent. It was used last sunday at the pipeline convention by 5 bands with a 4x5 extension over an 8 hour period and it didnt miss a heartbeat. It wasnt even hot. During the course of the afternoon the bass player in one band was so loud, he was taken out of the FOH completely and the bass still filled the room

    These are very underated amps

Blimey that brought back a few memories, I used to love that, and I thought Woodward played that really well.

Bass drum instead of kick. A small thing but can be so confusing in the studio if your drummer is lazy with his vocabulary and just says 'bass'.

    'Shred'

Best tell the drum manufacturers their terminology is incorrect then

     Bass Drum Spur Bracket(Starclassic Maple)

TAMA's MSB30 die-cast bracket holds the spur bracket securely, thanks to the same powerful hinge mechanism used on the MTB30 mounting bracket.Unique memory markers found on the folding spur bracket help simplify set up

  7. I bought my first acoustic a 450 head and 406 cab from Kingfisher in fleet, about £700 if I remember, an absolute fortune, and it was worth every penny. The first bass amp I had that did the business. I tried HH, Fender, Marshall, Simms Watt, and they didnt come close

I bought a 220 and a 406 four or five years ago [and er then a few more] and they are still emminently giggable even today, if you dont mind the size.

I still have a 320 and a 406 cab and its fun to rattle the glasses off the shelf.

Hi Sorry for the delay, heres some pictures from the fender site. Their photography is miles better than mine, and my bass is exactly the same. No blemishes marks or anything.

If you need anything eslse let me know
