1. @ lojo "Agreeing to gigs, or not is always a choice up front" Not if 3 out of 4 members do it then present as a fait acomplis. Leave the band you say? I did.
2. Love these. I'll pay for my fuel in a couple of weeks then. Fully understand it, but as ever, it sh*t's on the bands
3. Steve, does it come with the original gig bag? For God's sake, somebody buy this, it's only 4 miles from me and it's killing me
4. Allright you comedians, no, I haven't bought it. Yet Nowt will happen re courier until Tuesday. Doing all that IBAN stuff, well that usually takes 3 days for payment to clear to Europe and that's without 2 bank holidays chucked into the mix. So I'm guessing it would be cleared prob Wed/Thurs of coming week. I keep hoping to see it sold so I don't have to arse about with all that. Now THAT'S lazy
5. Yeah, the 75 RI is interesting with people putting them out £1100/£1250, even if some of those are the recent FSR which was presumably released to get rid of the last 75 RI's, after the 74's had been released. Statistically on here, the 75's go for £800/£900, as in actually SELL at those prices. A natural on FEEBay last week didn't get a bid at it's £850 start price. So he's relisted it at £1000 BIN A lovely natural with Rosewood 'board has been up at £950 since late last year. It's on here at £850 and still hasn't sold. One thing I have noticed in general is that sellers from the EU seem to ask a bit more for their basses than similar basses have gone for. But as we all know anybody can ask what they like.
6. Enjoy Kev and have a great couple of days
7. Enjoy it Kev, have a blast.

I really enjoy dealing with Martin, it's simply a laugh from start to finish. Always has great gear, well looked after and a joy to deal with. As 9 pages testify And boy, that TM Stevens Deal with top type confidence, you will find no better, all the best Martin.
9.
I hope it sells sells very quickly , because I can't control myself anymore and I'll end up buying it myself , I need to step away from the iPad

^^ Yip, I'm exactly there too......
Can't do much about it being sent out until Tuesday boys
10. Put up as it's the only one I've got that's near the funds required. Trying to fund the Ida . If the Ida goes quickly this is likely to be taken down. Finished in 2011 in USA, original purchaser bought it in 2012. I bought it off him a few weeks back for £1000. Active/passive in excellent condition. As ever with black there are tiny "certain light" scratches, that do need that certain light, and close up inspection, to see. Weight is 8lb 14oz so it's no heavyweight. Complete with the splendid "TV Logo". Whilst there are one or two of these still available new as "sell downs", they have now been replaced by the Elite which is selling around £1600. Currently the middle pick up is a Geezer Butler EMG (around £90) BUT the original pick up is also included in the sale, as is the original big rectangular hard case, Fender logo'd. The jazz pup is the original noiseless. Whilst it's a fund raiser, weak as I am, I would not be averse to a swap for AV63 P, AV 64J or one of the recent Hot Rod series. Payment would need to be cash collected, bank transfer or cleared cheque, sorry, no PAINPal. Happy to meet up, no extra charge, between just north of Brum, Carlisle, Leeds Courier, well, it's an expensive bass in a big case, so insured, UK, would be around £45. Feedback at bottom of post. Any trial in Wigan welcome, any questions welcome, many thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. 14. Weight, well, ask any female friend/relative, one of them will have luggage scales. Piece of string, hankie, whatever, hang bass off scales. Lovely bass but it's a 400 mile trip for me, others much further. As a pose to £30 fully insured courier. Lovely bass, good luck.
15. Lovely bass. Only bit of info you have missed (for some of us ) is an accurate weight?

18. Well Kev, when all else fails, just remember Joey and the turkey. Or was it Kev and the chicken
19. Just been to meet Kev, the hound and long suffering other half (don't mention the chicken ). Absolute pleasure to deal with, good laugh, decisive and a great bloke to boot. Enjoy melting the gaytartists face Kev, it's not as though you are FRIENDS Totally recommended, all the best and keep in touch.
20.
All well and good and I broadly agree, but everyone has to make a big effort to learn the material to the point where it can be played back to front, upside down and on one leg while facing east - underwater. What I mean is, without having to think about it or look at your fretboard. Otherwise any, er... 'stagecraft' is likely to compromise the quality of the performance.
I don't care how miserable I look, I'm NOT taking my bass underwater!
21.
MB1. ...BLACK!
Have you got a license for that brain Martin
22.
Wow Karlfer, that's a great looking faker! The bridge is a great compromise between that of the original, er, inspiration and something a lot more practical. Same kind of shape but no chance of tail lift :-)
Yup, so obvious when you see it isn't it.
23. And again further pm's replied. Nobody seems to have cash for this so perhaps time to put another bass up. One needs more funds and less black, black, maple
24. My old bass, amazing thing that should never have been sold Now, what to sell
25. Thanks Mike, try telling the punters that. Oh, wait a minute
